Hannah Shergold

Now recognised as one of the most successful self-representing artists in the United
Kingdom, Tusk ambassador Hannah Shergold’s recent rise in the art world has an

extraordinary back story. A Cambridge zoology graduate, a sculptor, a British Army Officer
and a Lynx helicopter pilot, Shergold has experienced an operational tour of Afghanistan
and flown aircraft in Germany, Canada and Kenya during her 9 years of military service.
Shergold now uses her unique skill set to raise phenomenal sums of money for charity. By
donating a proportion of her sales she has raised over £250,000 since she left the Armed

Forces in 2018. She has featured on Sky Arts ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’, in the Financial
Times ‘How To Spend It’, and her work is now owned by collectors all over the world

including Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and Singapore.
This catalogue introduces The 2022 Sovereign Collection and includes other works on

display at her solo exhibition on The Mall, London, in June 2022.
