SWEET SEASON

The typical Christmas palette has become a lot broader with a new
experimentation in festive decorating. Pastel enthusiasts don’t want a pine,
red and green Christmas of yesteryear, they are looking for new traditions.
These core colors – serene pastels and sharp ambers/ ochres – provide
the common thread for this trend. Then, the randomness that always
comes with vintage pieces injects the surprise elements. In this case,
sticking to a set of colors doesn’t stifle creativity, it just keeps quirkiness
on track. The vintage surprises are the wide variety of your one-of-a-kind
ornament collection.
The pastels act as a cohesive backdrop and vintage finds add surprise.

• Continues Summer Soltice from fall
• ‘Young and trendy ’
• Color mix through dried & dyed seasonal
• Vintage and novelty ornaments
• new pairings with ambers and ochres

WINTER GARDEN

Wintergarden reminds us to look no further than our front door for our winter
wonderland. Despite the dropping temperatures, we can still spend time
together outside. Create welcoming seasonal vignettes to make guests feel
warm and loved. Bring on the firepits, ice lanterns, and don’t be afraid to take
your dining table outside... just don’t forget the blankets.

1. The Enchanted Forest – Perthshire, Scot-
land

2. The Enchanted Forest is an outdoor event
staged annually in October that uses the
background of the trees in Faskally Forest
for an immersive light and sound show.

This festival has a very long
tradition in Germany. The first
sources to prove this custom
date back to the 14th century.
Especially in the Middle Ages,
friends and relatives often
helped with the construction.
To re w a rd t h e v o l u nte e rs , t h e
owners held a big party with
plenty of food and drink. This
custom has survived to this
day and most builders follow
this tradition. The topping-out
wreath is one of the most im-
portant symbols for this festi-
val. Therefore, it is necessary
to buy a topping-out wreath
before the alignment.

“This year’s Enchanted Forest, Of The Wild, is set to be an
incredible and unique experience for our many visitors to
Faskally Wood as the theme celebrates the wonders of nature.”
