Welcome to St Bartholomew's and St Barnabas and our services this

every Wednesday 12:00 noon until 2:00pm for prayer and reflection,
everyone is welcome.
 House Group is meeting this Wednesday, 16th March 2016, at 7:30pm
and will be held at 6 Nightingale Close, Danesmoor. For further details
please see Rod and Chris Leighton. Everyone is Welcome.
 North Wingfield Team Annual Meeting is this Thursday 17th March
2016 at 7:30pm in the St Lawrence School Rooms, North Wingfield.
Everyone is welcome to come to this meeting.
 Volunteers needed to take the Baptistery up to St John's, Tupton this
Saturday. Meet at St Bartholomew's at 12:30pm
 Easter Services Please see the leaflet enclosed for our Services on
Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter Day. Everyone is Welcome at all
our Services and events.
 “Fan the Flames” our next “Fan the Flames” Service is on Easter
Sunday 27 March 2016 at 6:00pm. This time it will be a Holy
Communion and at the St Barnabas Centre. All are Welcome at this
very special Service.
 “The Centre Table” A new Cafe called “The Centre Table” is
opening at the St Barnabas Centre on 21st April 2016 with a special
launch event from 9:00am until 1:00pm. Do please come to support
this new venture that day.
 Easter Flowers The flower fund is very low but it would be good to
have fresh flowers in church for Easter. If anyone would like to make a
donation please see Karin Mark or Marilyn Hall.
 St Barnabas Community Cafe If there is anyone who would like to
know more about volunteering at the cafe on a Thursday lunchtime

please have a word with Yvonne Haywood who will be able to tell you
more. This could be in the kitchen, serving or baking, once a month or
more often. Training is given.
 Prayer Ministry is available for everyone at St Bartholomew's Holy
Communion Services at the back of church. It is strictly confidential
and available for anyone who would like prayer for any personal matter
of any kind.
 Prayer Chain. If you have a prayer request, during the week, either for
yourself or someone else, please put it on our prayer chain. If it is for
someone else please ensure that you have their permission before
making the request. Prayer requests should be sent to Jennie Strong

Our Mission Action Planning in St Bartholomew's and St
Barnabas. For the St Barnabas Centre as we seek to

implement a strategy to improve its Management Structure and
Finances.

For the friends and family of Ann Taylor whose funeral was last
Wednesday and Dorothy Taylor, whose funeral is this Thursday, 17th
March 2016 at 11:00am, both at St Bartholomew's Church.

For Carl, Bob Union's nephew, who is in an induced coma in hospital
in Sheffield.
