Fast Track Appointments
Navigating your way through the healthcare systems can be difficult and time consuming,
especially at a time when patients are worried about your health and what lies ahead for them.
AXA’s market leading and unique in-house Fast Track Appointments service helps both you
and Seatronics at a time when most needed. For you, AXA helps you find an appropriate
specialist, and they can also book the first specialist appointment.

Appointments will be at a time and place that is convenient to both your work and home
commitments, taking away the hassle and anxiety sometimes associated with accessing the
healthcare system.

AXA place a team of qualified and experienced physiotherapists at the heart of Working Body
so members can arrange to speak with one of our experts without the need to see a GP.
Members will also receive case management and, where required, escalation for further
diagnostic tests such as scanning or to see a specialist for on-going treatment through the
nationwide partner network.

The telephone clinical consultation will direct you to one of three routes:
 Self-Management: AXA will provide you with easy to follow guidance on how best
to manage your condition.
 Face-to-face manual therapy with one of AXA’s approved physiotherapists.
 Specialist referral. In cases where you need further investigation or specialist
involvement

Stronger Minds
One call away and no need for a GP referral.

As soon as you feel like you are experiencing stress, anxiety or depression – you need make
only one call to start your treatment; without the need for a GP referral. The Stronger Minds
team will then ensure the fastest possible access to the most appropriate care.

When calling and discussing personal concerns it’s only natural to want the best psychological
care. AXA PPP healthcare adopt the Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation System
(CORE) - a UK standardised quality evaluation, audit and outcome assessment tool for
psychological therapies. AXA have successfully been adopting CORE within their EAP service
for years with proven better health outcomes.

The Employee Assistance Programme supports you, guiding on the little things through to life
changing events. To optimise your productivity, our Life Management, Health@Hand,
Management Consultancy or telephone/face to face counselling can work together to help
employees deal with the pressures in their lives, to help ensure concerns don’t escalate out of
control.

Where an assessment highlights a need for extended face to face counselling CBT,
psychologist and/or psychiatrist consultations an appointment will be speedily scheduled and

Cancer Care

If you tell us you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, AXA can give you immediate telephone
access to their Dedicated Cancer Nurses – helping to guide you and your family through the
emotional and practical challenges of treatment and recovery. Watch the AXA Cancer care

Anybody who has been diagnosed with cancer is likely to be anxious and confused about what
the illness may mean for them. Our team of Personal Advisers will direct you to our Dedicated
Cancer Nurses straightaway, to ensure they have access to appropriate support.

 Dedicated Cancer Nurses

We will provide you with a Dedicated Cancer Nurse who will offer one-to-one telephone
support and will be able to provide reassurance and clinical information about your condition,
treatment and recovery.

 A supported treatment journey

Recognising that a cancer treatment pathway is complex, AXA’s Dedicated Cancer Nurses
provide holistic support to ensure that your emotional and physical needs are monitored,
providing help and practical solutions. This may include referral for physiotherapy, counselling
or just providing a supportive ear.

 Personalised Care

AXA’s Personalised Care service, is designed to meet the needs of each individual and
includes more flexible support where you choose to use the NHS for some or all of your
treatment. AXA’s Dedicated Cancer Nurses will work with you to develop a tailored care
package which can support additional costs such as childcare and domestic support instead
of private treatment.
