NORMA BAHARU SSBJSEKOL AH SUK AN BUKIT JALIL MAL AYSIA

Bulan purnama selamat datang,
Sesuai untuk tanam halia,

Covid-19 datang menyerang,
Ujian dahsyat umat manusia.
Orang muda dijadikan kawan,
Orang tua harus di hormat,

Kuatkan diri wahai teman,
Perbanyakkan doa mohon selamat.

Buah bidara sedap dimakan,
Habis di makan tanpa sedar,

Norma baharu jadi ikutan,
Supaya covid19 dapat dihindar.
Negara Malaysia aman bahagia,
Hidup makmur pelbagai bangsa,
Penjarakan sosial harus dijaga,

Pelitup muka jangan dilupa.
Pergi berburu sampai sempadan,

Bawa rambutan manis isinya,
Moga 2021 bawa harapan,

Kekal sejahtera rahmat bahagia.

KARYA PELAJARSEKOL AH SUK AN BUKIT JALIL MAL AYSIA

SAYANGI SEKOLAHKU

Nukilan oleh: Ainur, Zulaika dan Haikal

Prauniversiti Kemanusiaan 1B
Sekolahku SSBJ,

Cantik sungguh sekolahku,

Bangunan tersergam indah,

Guru dan jurulatih yang berdedikasi dan komited.

Ketahuilah,
Sekolahku menjadi idaman yang bergelar atlet,
Tempat mencurah bakat yang terpendam,
Tempatku belajar erti kehidupan.

Sekolahku,
Ada teman yang setia membantu
Ada guru yang menyayangi
Ada bilik darjah yang rapi.

Oh sekolahku,
Aku akan selalu merinduimu
Banyak kenangan indah bersamamu.

Kerana sekolahku
Adalah rumah keduaku,
Harapanku, atlet SSBJ cemerlang dalam bidang diceburi.

Terima kasih sekolahku,
Kebanggaanku!
Kini jasamu, terukir indah dihatiku.

SEKOLAHKU KEBANGGAANKU

Nukilan 2 Komanwel Team
Sekolah Sukan Bukit Jalil nama diberi
Nampak tersergam indah sekali

Kami berdoa moga ilmu kami berkat.

Hari kami masih tak berakhir apabila waktu sekolah tamat
Kami masih perlu menyarung jersi dan kasut sukan
Kami berlari, melompat mahupun mengangkat berat
Demi sekolah dan negara, segala keringat sanggup kami korbankan

BUAT TEMAN Payah hidup kita sekarang
Adalah kerana masa depan yang kita kejar
Nukilan : Puitis Dramatis 2020 (shhhhhhh) Susah hari sekarang
4 Olimpik Adalah kerana ingin melihat senyuman ibu bapa kita
mekar.
Bagaikan bintang di langit
Menyinari tiap kegelapan Harapku padamu
Bagaikan mentari yang bersinar Agar kita terus kuat
Memberi kehangatan tiap langkahku Menghadapi segala cabaran hidup

Wahai sahabat,
Kita pernah mengalami masalah
Salah faham juga pernah
Namun semua itu dapat kita hadapi
Dan membuat kita saling memahami.

RAPUHNYA NILAI CINTA TANAH AIR KITA

Iwan, Wan Najmi, Ahmad
Prauniversiti Kemanusiaan 1B

MERDEKA

By Jazz Wong, 4 Olympics
“Merdeka, Merdeka!” is what we shouted
on our Independence Day.
We were freed and no longer colonised
on this very important day.

Our ancestors fought and kept fighting.
We will always remember the years past,
The pain and suffering,
For our freedom at last.

The day where we raise our flags,
Red, yellow, white and blue.
Need not to be separated by tags,
You are Malaysian, and I am too.

In a multi-racial country,
We respect each other’s ethnicities,
We stand together united and proudly,
Despite all our different ideologies.

The barriers between us are no longer there,
For they have fallen when we shouted “Merdeka!”
Tied by the festivities, food and laughs we share.
The diversity of our home, we call MALAYSIA.

WHO AM I ?

KAMAL FARHAN BIN A.RAHMAN, PRAU PENGURUSAN 3A1

Before I begin my sharing, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kamal Farhan bin A.Rahman. I was born
on 6th January 2001 at Sunway Medical Centre located in Selangor and I am now 19 years old. I am the 4th child among 6
siblings which include one older brother two older sisters and two younger brothers. I’m currently studying at Sekolah Sukan
Bukit Jalil (SSBJ) in Kuala Lumpur under the Pre-University Programme. I am a Pengurusan 3A1 student and I’m in my
third semester here.

Let’s talk about my family, I am blessed with healthy parents. My father is now 52 years old and currently working as
the head of the security department in Sunway Pyramid Hotel. He was born in Sungai Buloh. Selangor while my mother is a
46 years old homemaker. She was born in Pontianak, Indonesia. Like me my father was also an athlete. He was very active
as a 400 meters runner and played football during his heyday. Happily, I inherited his talents in athletics and have represented
my state in shot putt and discus sporting events.

I’m pleased that my achievements in athletics has excelled in leaps and bounds. Allow me to list it down. In 2016, I won
a bronze medal in the 1kg discus throw category with a distance of 49.19 meters during the Majlis Sukan Sekolah Malaysia
(MSSM) in Terengganu. Besides that, in 2017, I won a silver medal during the Liga Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia (Liga
KPM) in Sekolah Sukan Tengku Makhota Ismail. In 2018, I won a bronze medal in the 5 kg shot putt event with a distance
of 15.25m meters in the Majlis Sukan Sekolah Malaysia (MSSM) competition in my home ground in Selangor. In 2019, I
won a gold medal in the shot putt event with a distance of 14.40m using a 7.26kg shot putt ball in the Kejohanan Sukan
Institut Pendidikan Malaysia (SIPMA) tournament in Selangor. Due to my consistent promising performance, I was deemed
qualified to join the prestigious ‘Pelapis Kebangsaan Program’ national team in 2020.

I am currently training under the guidance of a Chinese coach, Mr. Gu Wei Yang. With his guidance and training regime,
I believe I can make it all the way and achieve my golden dream of becoming a renowned shot putt and discus thrower. Right
now, I am focusing on the shot putt event and I have a personal best (PB) of 15.26 meters. My current target is to break the
national record set by Adi Alifuddin Husssin with the distance of 17.54 meters. My dream is to become the first Malaysian
shot putter to win gold medals in Sea Games and to become the first Malaysian shot putter to qualify and win a medal in the
Commonwealth Games. To conclude, my advice to budding athletes is that they should always be inspired and motivated to
achieve their best performance. They must persevere and never lose hope to fulfil their dreams.

EVERLASTING FRIENDSHIP

SUPANG YAHYA PRAU, PENGURUSAN 3A1
School plays a vital role in my childhood as well as in my teenage years. The moment I stepped into a classroom for
the first time until now, I realised that I’ve learnt many valuable lessons about life.

While in the process of learning each day and as I grow into adulthood, I get to know lots of people and make many
wonderful friends. Some have left, some remain as close friends until today. However, memories of beautiful friendship never
fade, right?

I’m surely going to miss tons of things right after I leave my present school, SSBJ. Of course, the most painful will be
missing my dear friends. Friends whom I can depend on in good times as well as times when my world just crumbles! These
individuals have become part and parcel of my life. No matter how sad I feel sometimes, they are always there for me and cheer
me up in any possible way! We have been together for years; sharing tears and joys and that we have promised each other to
pass our Pre-U exam with flying colours. Besides that, they are one of the reasons that has driven me to strive for success in life.
Being the source of my happiness and my inspiration most of the time, I just can’t imagine life without them when I leave SSBJ.

Apart from friends, I’m going to miss my teachers too. They have been working extremely hard by imparting as much
knowledge as possible to prepare me to face upcoming challenges in life. Through the darkest and brightest moments of my life
in SSBJ, they have never failed to lead and guide me as they know very well what is best for me. As a matter of fact, they’re just
like my own parents and I will surely miss their naggings, rantings and ravings on exams, homework, assignments and the likes.

In addition, I will probably miss the daily lessons in the classroom. I admit that, sometimes I hate to study when I get
too pre-occupied with the endless homework. However, I believe I will miss those classes too later. In fact, I will miss the
environment of studying in SSBJ.

Friends, teachers and daily lessons in the classroom, just to name a few, are things that I will definitely miss a lot
after I leave SSBJ. I will most probably meet new friends and further my studies in another learning institution but it will never
be the same. Life has to go on and I have to bid goodbye at the end. Deep down in my heart, I believe it is not impossible that
one day we will be meeting again in this small world that we call ‘everlasting friendship.’

THROUGH THICK AND THIN

By: nameshouldbeasecret
4 Olympics

I could skip a heartbeat, and I would survive
I could be in a car crash and still be alive
The clouds could fall out of the sky
The oceans could disappear and all turn dry.

These things in life are all bad, I know,
but there’s worse things, just thought you should know.

Life would not be the same without someone like you.
You’re there when I need you to help me through.
Through the good times and through the bad,
Be them happy or be them sad.

I don’t have to be with you to know you’re there.
We don’t have to see each other to know that we care.
We could be apart for years upon end
and still remain the best of friends.

Life goes on, and people change,
And through it all, our friendship shall remain the same.
That’s such as life and how things come to be.
Dear friend,
Just thought you should know how much you mean to me!

“She could have started the 10m training earlier but then there was the MCO phase in March and it affected her training programme. “It’s going to be a competitive affair from overseas.”

Amy will take some amazing memories with her. One such memory would be the unforgettable gold medal-winning ribbon routine

in the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

She went on to win a silver in the team event, and bronze in the all-around and hoops event.

That success saw Amy becoming the first gymnast – male or female – to land the National Sportswomen of the Year since the

She also won the Olympian of the Year that year.

In the 2017 SEA Games, the sweet-faced Amy won two golds (team and ribbon), and two silvers (All-around and hoop).

Having been part of the sport for 21 years, Amy said it had really changed and shaped her into a better person.

“It has been my pleasure to be in the national team and serve our country since 2008. There are sweet and bitter memories, yet I

“The biggest dream in my gymnastics career was to compete in Commonwealth Games. I was inspired by Elaine Koon who I was

“I took part in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, but won nothing. That totally changed my life and taught me to

train harder and stay strong to achieve what I want in the sport. I came back stronger and better in 2018.”

KUALA LUMPUR: Jaguh baling tukul besi negara, Jackie Wong

tions at the Bukit Jalil Sports School. Melaka Action Group for Parents in Education
(Magpie) chairman Mak Chee Kin agreed, saying

the battle against Covid-19 is not over and advised

students not to take matters lightly.

“Do not be mischievous and play pranks on your friends when you reunite with them in school.

“Heed the rules stipulated in the SOPs,” he stressed.

He, however, argued that it is up to the school management and teachers in ensuring the SOPs are successfully implemented.

While it may be easier for Forms Five and Six students to comply with the guidelines, he said their level of readiness cannot be used

as a benchmark against other students, especially primary school pupils.

“The success of these students in practising the SOPs does not necessarily translate to the readiness of younger pupils as the latter lack

the level of maturity and discipline to fully abide by the rules.

“I doubt the younger ones will be able to control themselves by not playing and physically contacting their friends,” he said.

NUTP secretary-general Harry Tan said the older students must also be streetwise, especially as they are on the threshold of adulthood.

They know when and where the danger lies, he added.

“However, they need to heed the advice of professionals so that they can be protected.

“It’s difficult for students to stick to guidelines for a long time as they are social beings.

“The novelty of keeping apart will wear off once they interact and see that everything is back to normal, even though the threat of

Covid-19 still lingers,” he said.

A Form Six student who wanted to be known as Ziann said as seniors, it’s vital for them to set an example.Commending the ministry’s

move to only resume classes for older students at the moment, he said it is crucial for these students to take responsibility and comply

with the SOPs while in school.

He added that parents should also do their part and keep track of their child’s health.

“Students who are sick and show symptoms should not return to school and should be quickly sent for treatment,” he said.

Nur Aina, a Form Five student, said if “seniors” stick by the rules, the ministry might even consider reopening schools for other

students.

Education Minister Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin previously said that the ministry would see how the guidelines were being implemented

once schools reopened and if there was room for improvement.

It would then be carried out to ensure that students follow the teaching and learning (PdP) process in a safe environment, Bernama

reported.

Muhammad Yusuf Nazaruddin, a International Islamic University Malaysia third year Economics and Science Management student,

said he wants to return to campus soon, especially since his fees have not been reduced.

“Hopefully if the SOPs are successfully implemented in schools, it can be adopted in higher education institutions (HEIs),” he added.

Agreeing, Mohamad Ariff Fikri Ali said if the SOPs work well for Forms Five and Six students, it could be applied to HEI students.

The Universiti Putra Malaysia student representative council vice-president however said that factors such as the number of students

in each HEI, for example, must be taken into account if the SOPs are adopted.
