If BOTH auto-pilots are engaged (such as during an auto-land or CAT III approach) they will remain engaged until: Either another LATERAL or VERTICAL mode is annunciated. THEN the #2 Auto-pilot will dis-engage. If the airplane should touch down during the go-around evolution, it will continue the go-around.
