Chateau de Chillon, Montreux

Chateau de Chillon (Chillon Castle) on the banks
of Lake Geneva near Montreux. It has long been an
inspiration to artists and writers such as Lord Byron Jean
Jacques Rousseau and Victor Hugo were among the key
people who wrote about this architectural treasure. And
once home to the Count and Duke of Savoy from the 12th
century, the complex has about 25 buildings dotted
around three courtyards. Highlights include the Great
Hall with stunning views of Lake Geneva. Gothic vaults

to add rooms, the result is a magical mix of many styles: the
Bernese Baroque-style building is a romantic and inspired
building. From Prussian (including a library and smoking
room), the castle is also home to a living museum displaying
the times and lives of feudal society called the castle. It was
the site of the castle from the 16th to 19th centuries.

Münster Schaffhausen

This place is one of the two main churches in the
old town of the Swiss city Schaffhausen. First built in
1064 as the Romanesque cathedral of the Benecdictine
Kloster Allerheiligen. It was rebuilt several times and
became the Reformed Church of Schaffhausen in 1524.
