Bad Day's Can End

By: EllaRayne Lang

Have you ever had a bad day?... Hi, my name is
Kevin, and I have a wife and five kids. The oldest is
named Karen, then Sara, Gabe, Noah, and the youngest
is Abigail. Any way, I’m getting off topic.

My bad day started out with these sounds, “waa, waa!
(baby crying).” Beep, beep! (alarm clock).” “Stomp, stomp!
(the sound of my 5 kids),

“Ugh” said Kevin. He went downstairs. All the kids
were getting breakfast. He can definitely remember a
morning like this one. It was the morning that his little baby
girl was born and everything was chaotic without his wife.

So Kevin and his five kids got in his 2018 black
Chevrolet Ram 50 Minivan, and everything was all right.
Until it started to rain and thunder outside.

His job is teaching children (3rd graders), and it starts
at 8:15am. He lives in the country, so it takes him a few
minutes to get to the city. But he got stuck in traffic. He
has to drop off his kids at 8:00am. Time was running out. It
was 7:40. Thank goodness! He was 15 miles away from
work, and the kids’ schools.

They were never going to make it in time for school,
WHAT COULD THEY DO??? Now it turned 8:00am. THE
KIDS ARE LATE FOR SCHOOL. 10 miles to go. It looks
like time wasn’t on their side!

“POP!”
“OH NO!”
One of the tires popped. 8 miles to go. Kevin tries
getting help, but town was 8 miles away, so he calls for
help, and he had to get to work. Now they're going to have
to walk 8 miles in the rain.

“NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” all the kids yelled, it
was so loud that the baby started crying.

They waited for help in the car, so they had to take a
sick day, all of them. The help that they needed finally
arrived. They had to be towed back to town.

“You are going to have to watch your younger
brothers and sisters, Karen” Kevin said to the oldest child
of his 5, “Where are you going, dad” said Karen, “to work
to… um… figure out somethings out… Call your mom on
my phone.” Kevin said. So Kevin walked to work.

When he got there his boss wanted to talk to him,
sadly for Kevin, he got fired, then his sub got Kevin’s job.
But now he can fulfill his dreams as a doctor. Hooray!

He got to the workshop to get his car, he noticed
something, that something was missing, it was his kids,
but he thought for a while, Karen did what he told her to
do. She called her mom. The person working at the
workshop(his name was Freddie) fixed Kevin’s car. It was
all good. When he told his family all about his day, and
what he wants to do for a new job, they said that they
would support him no matter what.

This bad day wasn’t so bad after all.
