CONTEXT in context

CONTEXT Human Capital Management exists to evaluate
and innovate the way organizations manage and develop
new and existing employees, for the bene t of the
organization. The term "human capital management" (HCM)
represents the entire range of practices and processes for
managing people in an organization. These practices are
focused on the organizational need to provide speci c
competencies and are implemented in three categories:
workforce acquisition, workforce management and workforce
optimization. A superset of talent management, HCM systems
tend to look at people from a total, psychological, and
operational perspective, to determine strategies for optimal
performance and employee engagement.

Human beings are complex, as are the businesses they work for. Our business is both organization-centred and person-centered
because we examine the policies that make up the organization’s framework, while also digging deep into the psychological and
sociological contracts that are woven into the fabric of the organization, which means that we deal with various human capital
applications, from HR practices to Process Improvement and Automization. We provide context with which to interpret employee
behaviour, needs and wants and we provide both management and bottom-line with tools to grow and develop into valuable
assets for the company. Our organization’s attitude is one of growth. Both our internal and external operations take into account

CONTEXT

CONTEXT HCM has initiated and is involved with several passion projects that
promote social entrepreneurship, poverty alleviation, youth engagement,
health and self-sustainability.

Family Gardens is a CONTEXT HCM original
project taking place in Paramaribo, Suriname.
The project takes a holistic approach to issues
of poverty, promoting self-sustainability and
family life.
‘Family Gardens’ allows struggling families
to grow food in gardens, using organic growing
practices. Harvests from the gardens are sold at
a local farmer’s market and earnings are placed
into a college scholarship fund for children from
participating families. Families also receive a
weekly selection of the fresh in-season, locally
grown produce, to ensure adequate nutrition.

Champion Academy is an initiative that
promotes leadership and entrepreneurship
young people.
The community aims to develop personal
leadership, self-sustainability and authentic
identity in the upcoming generation,
locally and globally.
The community teaches life skills and
inspires purpose in young men and women
(ages 12-30), while providing opportunities
for increased social capial and present
and future success.
