Across the world – Berger is a name that is synonymous to Paint. The origin dates back to 1760, when Louis Berger
– a young German visionary, started dye and pigment making business in England. Louis involved his family into the
business and eventually changed the status of the company to Louis Berger & Sons Limited. The company grew and
expanded rapidly with a strong reputation for excellence in innovation and entrepreneurship. Augmented by the

We have successfully implemented and received certificates for ISO 14001:2015 Environmental 4
Management System (EMS) and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management
System (OHSAS) in the company in 2015. Our subsidiary Jenson & Nicholson (Bangladesh) Limited also
received these certificates in the beginning of 2016. Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited also received
ISO 9001:2015 certification. These certificates are recognition of our commitment to implement the best
quality management system while remaining conscious for environment and safety at workplace. In
2017, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited has been certified Information Security Management System
(ISMS) under ISO 27001 : 2013.
