GENERAL MANAGER’S MESSAGE

“VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE”

Dear Members,

The Club had been buzzing with many exciting activities in the recent weeks,
and I am very pleased to have witnessed the support from our Members and
their families to make these occasions a success. I hope that you had thoroughly
enjoyed all the fun and games namely the Carnival and Spooktacular Halloween
celebrations that our Team had painstakingly organised to provide excellent
family-oriented activities at KLGCC.

We are all looking forward to the EAST Course Fun Run scheduled to happen on
10 December 2022, during which participants will have the amazing opportunity
to witness the scenic beauty as well as the presence of beautiful flora and fauna
on the East Course. Let us enjoy the peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful surroundings
amid the hustle and bustle of our city slicker lives.

KLGCC is fast becoming a gastronomically exciting epicentre thanks to the recent
opening of the Victoria Harbour Restaurant as well as the upcoming launch of a
Korean restaurant. Members, families and Guests will be spoilt for choice come
mealtime as there simply are so many cuisines to enjoy at the Club.

But for the regulars, the Golfers Terrace continues to provide a delectable menu
of dishes which include the “Daily Combo” for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well
as Ikan Bakar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Don’t forget to enjoy the
traditional Sunday Roast as well!

The Club is undergoing some necessary maintenance work and we apologise
for any inconvenience caused. We are continually upgrading all aspects of the
Club and Members have been notified of the necessity to close both Courses on
different days so that essential Cultural Practices can be carried out on the greens.
At the same time a traffic light system has been introduced on Hole 7 of the West
Course in order to speed up play and avoid accidents. Due to the recent heavy
downpours, we are obligated to prohibit buggies from entering the fairway on
holes 13 & 14 on the East Course and holes 9 & 16 on the West Course. These as
well as the Short Game Green remain closed until further notice.

On behalf of the Management Team and Staff, my very best wishes to all golfers
participating in the upcoming Club Captain’s Trophy. Hope you have a memorable
event and an enjoyable day!

CLUB CAPTAIN’S MESSAGE

Dear Members,

I hope you are keeping safe with your family and loved ones. Firstly, allow me to
extend my sincerest thank you to the golf team for their hard work and passion in
maintaining the excellent conditions of our courses. Their input has been pivotal
to ensure that the Members and their Guests have a great playing experience at
KLGCC.

We have introduced a new ‘traffic light system’ to prevent dangerous play at our
courses, and I hope that the Members will comply and offer full cooperation to
help uphold the safety of all golfers. Your patience and understanding are highly
appreciated.

Congratulations to the KLGCC team for the prestigious certification by Audubon
International for its efforts in achieving a sustainable environment within the
premises. Here’s to more awards in the future!

Members may have noticed that the signages around the Club are currently being
upgraded in phases, so please do bear with the team as they work around the
clock to complete the mission. We have also upgraded the locks for the lockers in
the Men’s Gymnasium, so you can leave your belongings behind with greater ease
of mind.

Don’t forget to pop in and visit the two new restaurants at KLGCC – Victoria
Harbour and QingHeGu, for sumptuous Chinese and Korean cuisines when they
open. In the meantime, do drop by Golfers Terrace to try their new lunch combo
and don’t forget to give the team your feedback.

Finally, it’s time for the much-anticipated Captain’s Trophy event and please
register at our Golf Counter to participate. We look forward to seeing you play.

A spooktacular event!

The annual Halloween celebration is undoubtedly one of KLGCC’s most memorable soirees, and this year was
no exception. Our guests celebrated the fun and exciting occasion while dressed in their favourite fictional (and
even non-fictional!) characters such as ghouls, ghosts, clowns, vampires and more. Spirits were surely lifted on
that Saturday night, with guests arriving to see the Banquet Hall decked with Halloween-themed decorations, and
all hands snuck into the pumpkins filled with assorted candies and chocolates there. The atmosphere was made

spookier with horror-themed food as guests wee entertained with activities and games throughout the night.

KLGCC First ever haunted house!

KLGCC opened its doors to its first ever haunted house on Saturday, 29 October 2022, where ghouls, ghost faces,
werewolves and creepy crawlies were waiting for the guests to enter. Screams and squeals echoed throughout the
premises as the visitors tried to find their way out of the thrilling, suspensful maze. No doubt the guests, especially

the children, thoroughly enjoyed the entertaining night full of spooky festivities!

Celebrating the PERODUA National Final of
the Amateur Golf series at KLGCC

On 14 October 2022, we celebrated the grand finale of the Amateur Golf Series (PNAGS) at the Banquet Hall in
KLGCC with a great fanfare. Sponsored by PERODUA, the event paid tribute to the newly crowned Category A
champion, Mohd Firdaus Ahmad who successfully overcame the demanding KLGCC East Course that requires the
right selection of clubs and excellent shot accuracy for a good scorecard. Congratulations to Mohd Firdaus and

other winners!

Booking: 1) Court may be booked for a maximum of two (2) hours per booking.

Booking may be made in person at the Sports Counter or by telephone at +603-2011 9188 ext 446 during operation hours;
2) Booking has to be made up to three (3) days in advance. Each member is permitted to book only one court for each session of play;
3) Any member wishing to cancel his/her reservation must do so at least four (4) hours prior to his/her playing time.

Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of RM25 charged and debited to his/her account.
