GENERAL MANAGER’S MESSAGE

“PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE”

I feel sure that all Members will have done their duty and voted in the recent
National Election and as the Nation gets ready for 2023 so are we at KLGCC
planning a wide range of activities in the year ahead.

Special congratulations to the winners of the recently concluded Annual Captain’s
Trophy and please ensure your registration for the President’s Trophy taking place
this month.

Meanwhile, the usual Seasonal Events will be taking place and Members will
already have noticed appropriate decorations have been put up in various locations
throughout the Club.

Of special note is that for the first time ever, we will be opening KLGCC’s beautiful
golf course to Members, Guests and Visitors so that you all may run or walk whilst
enjoying the unique environment during our “East Course Fun Run” on the 10th
of this month.

There is a registration fee of RM 85 for adults and RM 55 for children and there will
be an Evening Buffet, Tee Shirt, Finishing Medal and a host of Lucky Draw prizes
for all participants. We are already open for registration and may I encourage you
to sign up now so as to avoid disappointment on this very special occasion.

World Cup Fever is at KLGCC and the club will be televising live matches at the
Golfers’ Terrace. Please book your tables by calling +603 20119187 /189 as seats
are limited. There is also a special Breakfast Menu for those that would like to
enjoy a range of special Malaysian Favourites with your family at the weekend.

As mentioned, there are a host of Seasonal promotions being offered by our various
Gastronomic Outlets including a special Christmas menu at Le Conti Connisseurs
Lounge & Restaurant, Ikan Bakar and Tiffin Teas Snacks at the Golfers’ Terrace as
well as dim sum being served daily from 11.30 – 2.30pm at our very own Victoria
Harbour.

May I also refer you to the Banquet and Events Teams who have prepared a series
of delectable packages for the forthcoming Christmas Season which can be
arranged privately or at the Club itself.

CLUB CAPTAIN’S MESSAGE

“IT’S A BUSY TIME OF YEAR”

Seasonal Greetings to everyone and I am sure you will all be enjoying the various
activities, decorations and promotions that are taking place throughout the Club
at this special family-oriented time of year. Full details of which are available on
the KLGCC App which is updated on a regular basis.

My special thanks to all who participated in the recent 2022 Captain’s Trophy and
many Congratulations to the winners. It was tremendous to see the spirit with
which the competition was played and truly reflects the friendships created by
our unique game.

World Cup fever is evident everywhere and with all the matches being shown
live at the recently refurbished Golfers’ Terrace, there is the opportunity to enjoy
the comfort of the new surroundings whilst munching the snacks that have been
specially prepared by your catering team.

Of special importance is the East Course Fun Run being held on 10th of this month
which, for the first time, is being open to Members, Guests and Friends to enjoy
the special buffet and various goodies and Lucky Draw which will be available to
all participants as they move round the breath-taking and unique environment
of our Eco-Friendly Club. May I encourage you all to participate especially the
non-golfers who do not always get the opportunity of enjoying the sanctity of our
unique environment in the heart of the Klang Valley.

A new App will be launched soon and will facilitate booking times for regular
golfers and with the President’s Cup taking place this month may I also encourage
you to register now so as to avoid disappointment.

VIVA LAS VEGAS!!

It was a night of the fabulous and the glamorous !! The PWC year end dinner was certainly one to remember! The
Sime Darby Convention Centre was filled with fine Ladies and Gentlemen all of whom were dressed to impress
the enthusiastic crowd assembled for a special evening of celebration, with the Vegas themed backdrop that was
complete with Elvis, Madonna, Lady Gaga and other impersonators. The ballroom was filled with exciting energy

ready to burst. It was truly, a night to remember for all who were fortunate enough be in attendance.

TOYOTA SUPPLIERS CLUB ANNUAL DINNER

Taking place on the 2 November 2022 at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Toyota Suppliers Club held their
annual dinner at the Grand Ballroom to celebrate the many achievements of the staff throughout 2022. The
atmosphere was filled with laughter and cheerful happiness throughout the evening.

The elegant and dream wedding of Amalina Aishah and Walid took place on 11 November 2022. It was held at the
Grand Ballroom with almost 700 attendees and from the obvious affection of the happy couple for each other on

World Amateur Golf Champion

The post tournament celebrations of the world famous WAGC took place at KLGCC on 17 November 2022. Held
at the KLGCC Tournament Room, the hall was filled with spirited players, good food and special camaraderie
amongst all participants. Satisfied faces could be seen everywhere enjoying themselves after a morning of golf in
competitive but friendly surroundings. Many congratulations to all those involved for bringing global recognition

to the KLGCC!!

3) Any member wishing to cancel his/her reservation must do so at least four (4) hours prior to his/her playing time.

Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of RM25 charged and debited to his/her account.
