GENERAL MANAGER’S MESSAGE

I am absolutely delighted to share that our first Family Festival was a great success!
We have always prided ourselves as a family-oriented club and to see so many
familiar and happy faces at the event proves that our Members and their Guests
feel the same way. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the KLGCC team
that worked tirelessly to make the Family Festival a big hit, and let’s work towards
making this a regular event on our calendar. Here’s to achieving the same level of
excitement for the KLGCC Halloween Celebration later this month.

In the spirit of creating a fun atmosphere at KLGCC, we will be organising the East
Course Fun Run on 19 November 2022 so don’t forget to sign up. This is a great
chance to appreciate our unique landscape up close and be immersed with the
surrounding nature and when all that running gets you famished, simply make a
stop at any of our various F&B outlets.

On that note, do make a visit to the Golfers Terrace to try the items off our revamped
menu which received positive feedbacks from its loyal patrons. We heard that the
new Ikan Bakar offering is simply a sumptous must-try dish, so don’t miss out.
Thank you as well to the Members who gave their input in picking the design for
the new Golfers Terrace logo; we appreciate your constructive thoughts.

We have implemented several improvements at the Club in the recent weeks,
starting with the Golf Department replacing the driving range balls. We believe
that with the new balls, the driving range will be a mandatory pitstop for Members
and Guests to hone their skills before venturing onto the courses.

In view with our ambition to be a Cashless establishment, we have introduced a
new payment system and Members can make their payments via e-wallet platforms
including Touch ‘n Go, Maybank’s Scan & Pay and WeChat Pay, among others.
Members can also pay their monthly bills online, thereby facilitating smoother
transaction experiences for everyone throughout the KLGCC premises.

Finally, while we are reintroducing excitement into our lives, let us remain vigilant
in protecting our health and safety, as well as those of our loved ones. Please
maintain good hygiene practices when in the Club’s vicinity as well as when in the
public.

CLUB CAPTAIN’S MESSAGE

Dear Members,

September had been a real blast with so many exciting activities happening
throughout the month. Let me start by congratulating our September Monthly
Medal winners who put on an amazing display of showmanship during the games.
Kudos to all for showing us true camaraderie and the genuine spirit of KLGCC, and
a hearty thank you to the organisers. Keep up the good work!

In keeping with our efforts to encourage good sportsmanship, the Golf Department
has also introduced a new inter-member group tournament, which we believe
would offer the right challenges that you were seeking! And if you’re heading to
the driving range, don’t forget to check out the new golf balls – just one of the
many new improvements that Members can look forward to at the Club.

Speaking of new and exciting elements at KLGCC, I hope that you had made
your way to the Club’s inaugural Family Festival held late last month. It was a
tremendous success with many new and familiar faces enjoying a fun-filled day
out with their friends, families and loved ones. Following this, we are already in
discussion to have more family-friendly activities at the Club in the near future so
do keep your eyes and ears peeled for the news.

The nearing year end brings with it the excitement of the Captain’s Trophy and
President’s Cup tournaments, which we know are the highlights with many
Members. Well, patience is a virtue, and we will be sharing more information with
you real soon, and for those eager to participate, I wish you all the best.

As a closing note, I would like to take this opportunity to wish our Muslim Members,
Salam Maulidur Rasul and to all Hindu friends a very Happy Deepavali. If you are
travelling during this period, please stay safe and vigilant.

KLGCC First family Festival!

The atmosphere was buzzing with pure joy and excitement at the inaugural Family Festival held on 24 September
2022 at KLGCC. Open to all Members, their Guests, employees as well as their families and friends, the annex
building thrived with lively activities for the visitors from all ages. Children and adults surely enjoyed the petting

zoo in addition to other excitements including carnival-like game booths, Zumba by Flyproject, and more.

No tummies were left empty that day as visitors we spoilt for choices with booths selling tomyam noodles, nasi
kerabu, chicken rice, bingsu, doughnuts, pastries and even ice cream! The fun-filled day was made more exciting

with over 30 lucky draw prizes given away to happy and content visitors.

MAXIS DURIAN PARTY

Who says you can’t bring durian to a party? Definitely not these crowd at MAXIS durian party. Nothing brings
people closer like enjoying a durian while talking business. Held on the Friday, 23 September 2022, at the

tournament room, these business party are not like any other, filled with a line of good food, assorted fruits and
graced by the presence and aroma of the king of fruits.

The wedding of Akhlil and Eleena

Akhlil and Eleena celebrated their union with a dreamy, wonderful wedding on 18 September 2022. Held at the
Grand Ballroom with almost 500 attendees, every inch of their wedding day exuded perfection with an
enchanting, and effortlessly relaxing ambiance.

Lighting up with Lanterns

The night of 10 September 2022 was made even more beautiful as boisterous young children lit up the KLGCC
with their colourful tanglungs and bright smiles. Guests arrived at about 7:30pm before choosing one of the many
lanterns, prepared by the KLGCC team, to accompany them throughout the special, dedicated walk. At 8:00pm,
the walk started from the West Lobby to the Main Lobby where goodie bags were waiting for the jovial kids.
Families and friends signified the special night with photographs at the photo booth before the end of the event.

Booking: 1) Court may be booked for a maximum of two (2) hours per booking.

Booking may be made in person at the Sports Counter or by telephone at +603-2011 9188 ext 446 during operation hours;
2) Booking has to be made up to three (3) days in advance. Each member is permitted to book only one court for each session of play;
3) Any member wishing to cancel his/her reservation must do so at least four (4) hours prior to his/her playing time.

Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of RM25 charged and debited to his/her account.
