Kids love bugs! This week encourages campers' enthusiasm for invertebrates
of all kinds, from centipedes to cicadas. Together we’ll learn to stridulate (sing)
like crickets, hunt like a praying mantis and play exciting games based on insect movements

July 5 - 7 Cost: $115
Healthy Choices make for Healthy Kids! Campers will engage in a interactive week
learning to make healthy choices with hands-on activities, being a food label
detective and deciphering the food fact codes, participating in a variety of Fun
Fitness activities , and evaluating the sugar in your diet with another cool kid friendly
activity. Kids will get excited about eating healthy and feeling great!

Things in Motion July 10 – 14 Cost: $190

Moving fast this week, real fast. What goes up must come down…the only thing
holding us back are the laws of physics. Campers will utilize math, engineering
and scientific concepts in their pursuit of all things speed.
Special trip to the Mt Olive Carnival on July 13 to experience some real life physics!

Art Mania July 17 - 21 Cost: $190

Paint, pencils, jello, cornstarch… What do theses all have in common? They can be used to unleash the
imaginations and creativity of our campers! Individual and group projects will be created throughout the
week to be displayed in an Art show on Friday afternoon.
Special guests will drop by throughout the week to share their ideas and crafts.

Camp DD’s July 24 - 28 Cost: $190

Every Camper has talent and this week they will shine. Working in groups or individually , campers will

have opportunity to practice their talent each day to perform in Friday afternoons “Camp DD’s got

talent”

Hydro - licious July 31 - Aug 4 Cost: $190

All things water rules this week! Soaked sponges to Water slides campers will have a
blast. Campers will also investigate the power of water, why water is important to our
environment and our bodies. A trip to Hopatcong State Park is scheduled for Wednesday

Stand Up Paddle
On Budd Lake

Stand Up Paddling is a fun and easy way to enjoy local lakes, oceans, &
waterways. It is fantastic exercise & practiced by people of all ages. This
summer, Stand Up Paddle Board Lessons will be offered at Budd Lake Park on
Sundays from May 28th to September 4th by a certified WPA (World Paddling
Association) instructor with Basic First Aid and CPR. He is also the Watersports

& Ski buyer for Pelican Sport Center in Morris Plains.

When: 5:00 – 6:30pm Sundays from May 28th to September 3rd
No Class: June 25th; July 2nd; August 6th
Cost: $70 for 1.5 Hour Lesson

Ages 12 and up . All students must be able to swim without a PFD

playing at West Morris HS, Drexel University and Professionally

PureskillzBasketball Camp

Cost: $175 Grades: 3-8
PureSkilzBasketball Camp (PSBC) is dedicated to bringing boys and girls the very best in
basketball. With over 25+ years of combined experience, Coach Dattoliand Coach
Watkins will teach your child not just the fundamentals of the game, but also amazing
techniques that will improve their skills to be the best in town.
Daily Activities Include: Strength / Conditioning, Drills, Instructional Games, Individual
Instruction, Nutritional lessons, and lectures

PEAK SUMMER PROGRAMS 2017

PEAK Walk/Run 5K Fundraiser

Come out for a day of fun and help raise money for programs for children with special needs.
There will be food and giveaways in addition to the walk/run event. Early Registrants will
receive a free t-shirt.

PEAK Summer Camp 2017

Monday-Thursday, 12:30-2:30pm
Location: CMS School
Cost: $120 per week per person
Week1: 7/10-7/13 Week 2: 7/17-7/20 Week 3: 7/24-7/27 Week 4: 7/31-8/3
All ESY participants welcome! For 2 hours after the ESY program ends, campers will engage in
various recreational activities such as sports, music, creative movement, art, reading and more!
Camp begins daily at the dismissal of the Mt. Olive ESY program and will be supervised and
taught by qualified adults and volunteers. Due to the prevalence of food allergies, campers
must bring their own bag lunch, snack and beverages. Register online. For more info, please

PEAK Weeks at Highview Farms

Come join Rosanne & her staff for a fun filled camp just for our PEAKsters! The farm is located
at 416 Sandshore Road, Budd Lake
Dates: August 14-18 and August 21-25
Time: 9 am - 12 noon

You can come for one or both weeks. You may provide a shadow for your child if needed at no

Founded in 2008, we are committed to giving special needs kids an opportunity to participate in a variety of
activities at their own pace and in a non-competitive, accepting environment. Special needs children from
any school district are welcome to attend our programs and we strive to include their typically-developing
siblings, when appropriate. To learn more, come to one our monthly meetings which are typically held the
first Monday of the month in the library at CMS.

metals are mixed together instead of being sorted separately. That’s right. EVERYTHING in

one can. No sorting, separating, or bundling anymore.
Toss it all in one can together and roll it to the curb for pick up.
Residents are welcome to continue using their own cans OR
take advantage of this great opportunity to support their local recreation department.
