วารสารฯ ฉบับที่ 2 น้ี น�ำเสนอกิจกรรมการส่งเสริมบทบาทสตรีและ
ยุวสตรผี ู้ท่ีมคี วามโดดเดน่ เน้นย้ำ� การมีส่วนร่วมของสตรี รวมไปถึงการให้
ความร้ผู า่ นกิจกรรมและโครงการต่าง ๆ ด้านเด็กและเยาวชน โดยหวังว่า
จะเปน็ ประโยชนก์ บั ผ้อู า่ นทุกท่านท่ีติดตามและสนใจ

In the year 2022, Thailand was honorably represented as the host
of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), after New Zealand in year
2021. In 2022, Thailand is going to run work under the main topic
“OPEN, CONNECT, BALANCE” that conveys broad-open connected,
eco-friendly trade, also agreeable with Bio-Circular-Green Economy- BCG.
Being a host, this time is the important opportunity of Thailand to
promotes policy and direction of development which will be beneficial
for Thailand and ASEAN Pacific region in many dimensions.
In preparing to be APEC host, Ministry of Social Development and
Human Security emphasized on women’s affairs cooperation and
women’s economic power encouragement in COVID-19 period and
digital era by aiming to adapt the idea of BCG economy in building up
balance and extensive growth, including women’s affairs that relate
to the motivation guideline of La Serena Roadmap for Women
and Inclusive Growth Action Plan.
APEC conference on Women and the Economy Forum (WEF) that
will be hold in September 2022 is a mechanic in encouraging women
power and increasing women participation in eco-friendly economic,
decreasing inequality and poverty, raising up quality of life, and
encouraging children’s nutrition, health, and education.
The objectives of Thai youth training under Youth Volunteer for
APEC workshop project are to acknowledge Thai youth, to build up
understanding about international meeting frame, APEC cooperating
framework, also roles and missions of Ministry of Social Development
and Human Security. Accordingly, the youth who joined the project
got primary understanding about self-preparing to be the good host
welcoming 21 representatives from APEC member economies who look
forward to joining the meeting in Thailand.
The 2nd issue of the journal presents role in promoting activities
of outstanding women and young women, emphasizing on women
participation, as well as giving knowledge through children and youth
activities and projects. It is our earnest hope that this will be fruitful for
readers who are interested and the followers.

The ASEAN Youth Debate –The youth representatives selected was from Navaminda
Kasatriyadhiraj Royal Air Force Academy.
These activities aimed on important objectives that were to strengthen children and
youth with important experiences, and to develop children and youth of ASEAN region
capability, knowledge, and ability to be strong and able to grow to be the important
resource of nation and ASEAN region to live together peacefully in the future. Thailand
intended to support these activities to reach the goal by encouraging children and youth

learning and searching for information or interacting with
others. The fact is that spending time browsing through
internet can create both negative and positive results.
Under the high risk situation, there are 94 percent
of children aged between 12-17 year old spending times
for online activity one time per day at least via their
smart-phone as same as children in other parts of the
world. Surfing on internet can become everyday activity.
Some says that smart-phone considered as the 33rd
of human organs. In order to increase the awareness among
children and youth and protecting them from online

One of the risks caused by the misuse of the internet and digital technology
is commercial sexual exploitation of children or child sexual abuse which does
not happen to girls only and needs to be solved urgently. Currently, the
internet and social media are considerably used, everyone should
collaboratively check, keep an eye on, and give advice because some
behaviors probably increase risks of online threats unintentionally, such as
posting children’s photos on social media as it does not only publicize
personal information of children, but also give criminals to use children’s
information for sexual stimulation and exploitation. As a consequence, this
leads to a piece of advice for using the internet safely, creatively, and in a
literary manner.
