On top of that, Alex managed to get free delivery as he had some coupons. If not, he would have had to pay RM9.00 for the delivery. Alex tried using his debit card to pay for the camera but there was a problem with his card. He then asked Ken if could use his credit card. Ken happily agreed. Alex paid him back the next day. Alex placed the order for the camera on 5 March. He was informed that he would get the camera on 15 March. The camera arrived on 11 March. On Monday, there will be an environmental exhibition. Then, on Thursday there will be an essay writing competition on ways to save the environment and finally, on Friday a documentary on the destruction of planet Earth will be shown. [8 marks] Vegetarian Lasagne Preparation time: 1 hour 15 minutes Ingredients: • 1 pound dry lasagne noodles • 2-3 cups Italian tomato sauce • 2 small or one large zucchini, grated • 1 pound ricotta cheese • 3 cups fresh spinach, washed and stemmed, or 6 oz. frozen spinach, thawed • 1 pound mozzarella cheese, grated or thinly sliced • 1/2 pound provolone (a type of cheese), grated or thinly sliced (optional) Directions: 1 Bring the tomato sauce to a boil, stir in the zucchini and cook for about 5 minutes. 2 Ladle a bit of sauce into the baking dish and spread it around so that the bottom of the dish is lightly coated. 3 Preheat oven to 350° Celsius. 4 Place lasagne noodles in the pan to form a single layer. 5 Spread 1/3 of the ricotta cheese on the noodles and place them in the dish, then top with 1/3 of the spinach and 1/3 of the mozzarella. Generously cover with tomato sauce. 6 Repeat twice, using 1/3 of ingredients for each layer. 7 Bake for about an hour, until sauce is bubbly and cheese is melted. Let it cool slightly and serve. At the age of sixteen, Ida had an idea for a mystery novel. During the end–of–year school holidays, she worked on the novel. The book was titled ‘The Secret of the Blue Bungalow’. She decided to send her manuscript to Ariana Publishing with the help of her mother. However, they were not interested. She then sent the manuscript to Olin Publishing. They agreed to publish her novel. Ida was very grateful. To her surprise, the novel was a success. After that, she decided to write another novel. The title of this book was ‘The Disappearing Treasure’. This book also did very well. While the first novel sold 150 000 copies nationwide, the second novel sold 250 000. Ida has done countless interviews. Most of the interviewers have remarked that she is a friendly and cheerful person. However, there was one time, an interviewer commented that Ida was moody and rather unfriendly. Ida later said on the day of the interview, she was not feeling well.
