Dear Diary,

I’ve never been jungle trekking before, so I wanted to do something fun on
my birthday. Today, I went jungle trekking near a waterfall at Besta Hill. I
went with my family. We had such a great time!
We left the house at about 7 am. We dressed comfortably and put on
thick socks and shoes with good grip. It took about 15 minutes to get to the
jungle entrance and an hour to get to the waterfall.
It was such a thrilling and adventurous experience walking in the jungle. I
saw various trees and plants along the way. The sounds of birds and crickets
filled the air. I did take lots of photos of rare species of insects that I found
along the track. After a long walk, we finally reached the waterfall safely.
The sight of the waterfall made my heart leap with joy. It was amazing!
It’s truly the most exciting experience I’ve ever had. The best birthday

Hi, I’m Zayd. Welcome to my blog. I live in Malaysia. During the recent
holidays, I went to Perhentian Island in Terengganu. I tried a few activities
that I have never done before. Let me tell you about these amazing activities.

First, I went island hopping to three beautiful islands. The speedboat was
extremely fast. I was scared at first but after that, I enjoyed my time seeing
different wildlife in different islands.

On the second day, I went snorkelling. I was mesmerised by the crystal-
clear water and fine beaches. I swam alongside a school of vibrant fish, sea
turtles and even saw a harmless reef shark in the water. It was an amazing
experience!

Then, I went kayaking with my brother. For me, it’s the best way to explore
the coastlines. Even though very tiring, it was a valuable experience for me
as I could explore hidden beaches and also coves. I hope I could explore
more islands in Malaysia.

not healthy food. Students also tend to buy sugary drinks that contain
artificial colour which may bring harm to us. The canteen operator
needs to do something about this. I believe students will learn better if

Dear Sophia,
Part 5 I’m writing this email to share about my
21 durian amazing trip to Melbourne last week. First,
22 scooter we went to Federation Square and took
23 furious lots of photos in front of beautiful buildings.
24 advertisement Then we bought some souvenirs at Queen
25 dye Victoria Market. It was a huge market that
sells everything a tourist needs. On the
second day, we spent the whole day at Luna
Park. All the rides were awesome! We also
went to Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium to
discover the aquatic world. Lastly, we had
our city tour on City Circle Tram. We enjoyed
the breathtaking view of Melbourne.
