No one is more devastated than Birdie’s long-struggling songwriter Albert Peterson who is faced with the loss of his meal ticket. Rosie, Albert's secretary, pushes him to write a new tune for Birdie to perform on live television, to be sung to a fan selected at random from Birdie’s nation-wide fan club. 42 bedfordtheatercompany.com NOV 2019 Seussical-WPS Full-page, b/w bedfordtheatercompany.com BEDFORD THEATER COMPANY We are pleased to announce plans for a very special production of “Seussical Jr.” This Mentorship Production of the show will bring experienced actors and theater tech students from Staples Players to Bedford to work with our sixth grade students. A full version of “Seussical Jr.” will be produced by Staples Players in March, and then we will produce “Seussical Jr.” as our sixth grade play later in April. It’s an exciting opportunity for our sixth graders to watch, learn from, and work alongside their more-experienced counterparts: the Staples Players actors and technical crews. Check our website in December. We will post information about Seussical Jr. auditions for sixth graders and Application Forms for eigth graders who are interested in working with sixth graders as one of our Student Directors.
