ภาษาองั กฤษ เป็นวชิ าประเภททกั ษะ (Skill) ซ่ึงจะตอ้ งอาศยั การฟัง การพดู การอา่ น
และการเขียนอยเู่ สมอ ทกั ษะการอา่ น (Reading Skill) เป็นหน่ึงในหัวใจของการเรียนรู้
ดา้ นภาษาองั กฤษ เพราะการอ่านทาให้เกิดการพฒั นาดา้ นสติปัญญา ดา้ นความรู้ ความสามารถ
และประสบการณ์ ตลอดจนนาความรู้และความคดิ ทีไ่ ดจ้ ากการอา่ นไปใชช้ ีวิตประจาวนั ได้
