NIGHT

DJO'S 2019 KICK START EVENT

On January 11, 2019, DJO launched
it's Kick Start event to give a big
cheer for the new year. The event
was organized by Project Unicon.
Everyone was instructed to wear
the colors of black and white -
whereas this was assigned per
team.

Inspired by the phrase,"In black and
white", just as in writing or in print,
and regarded as more reliable,
credible, or formal than by word of

to create ripples of amazing and
great changes. The whole night was
all about appreciating everyone's
effort in passing and making 2018 a
success while aiming for better and
greater results for 2019.

The whole night was abuzz with
laughter and fun.

APP.CO Employees were given full access to
make use of the photo booth at the
4th floor Game Room. This photo
booth became an additional
highlight to the event so that they
may capture moments and
memories of such day. Aside from
the memory-filled photo booth,
everyone was given free meal
(Catered by Wicked Kitchen). The
food was worth an additional
cherry on top of the event.

Since it was a Kick Start event of
the account, we also made sure
that everyone gets to write on the
Freedom Wall their New Year's
Resolution. The words they wrote on
the Freedom Wall would be used as
a reminder of their commitment to
strive better this year! All-in all, the
event garnered an 85-90%
participation rate - thus making the
first event organized by Project
Unicon a success!

HOODIE HOO
FRIDAY

TIME TO MAKE A STATEMENT

On January 18, 2019, Project
Unicon organized a theme
day that emphasizes on
Hoodie as the based of the
team. The hoodie is the
ultimate in street style, worn
by urban teens everywhere.
To top the week with the
statement of “empowerment
in modern culture” gives the
participants a chance to
showcase their stand and
fashion sense.

This event was able to earn a
100% participation rate. This
exceeded what the
engagement team has
projected, thus this was a

CHINESE Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in
NEW China. In 2019, Chinese New Year begins on
YEAR February 5 and marks the beginning of the Year of the
Pig. Tied to the Chinese lunar calendar, the holiday
CELEBRATING THE was traditionally a time to honor household and
YEAR OF THE PIG heavenly deities as well as ancestors. It was also a
time to bring family together for feasting. With the
33 | Engagement popular adoption of the Western calendar in 1912, the
Chinese joined in celebrating January 1 as New Year’s
Day. China, however, continues to celebrate Chinese
New Year with the traditional greeting, “Kung hei fat
choi.”

Last February 5, 2019, the account was filled with
celebration of wealth and good fortune. The teams
were asked to wear the colors representing Fire and
Metal elements. The account was awash with the
colors of red and gray that day. Also, a blast email was
sent to provide Feng Shui tips for each Chinese
Zodiac. The event was considered a success since
participation rate of 100% was observed.

iHeartyou February is known as the

“Love Month” and the

most traditional way of

expressing our heartfelt

admiration is by sending

a “Love Letter”. A love

letter is a romantic way to

express feelings of love in

written form (For this

case, e-written). Whether

delivered by hand, mail,

carrier pigeon, or

romantically left in a

secret location, the letter

may be anything from a

short and simple

message of love to a

lengthy explanation of

feelings.
