1.0 INTRODUCTION During this sixth semester, one of the subjects that I studied was electronic E-Da’wah and Campaign. Basically, E-Da’wah and Campaign are the subjects that offer a foundation of knowledge and practical activities (skills) that are utilized in actual communication activity. Then, this subject also will expose student to the design of e-da’wah and campaign program content, be able to deliver effectively towards the community. In this subject, there are some tasks that given by the course coordinator but our main task is to produce a digital video accompanied with the element of da’wah for the program of ServiceLearning Malaysia University for Society (SULAM). Other than that, critical reflection also one of the activities that must be completed after running the SULAM’s program. Reflection is an important tool for both professional and personal development. Reflection fosters self-awareness, empathy, and resilience, allowing people to learn from their past errors, appreciate their accomplishments, and more successfully handle problems in the future. Therefore, in this assignment I will critically evaluate and relate some of my experiences in before, during and after the implementation of the SULAM’s program.

2.0 CRITICAL REFLECTION ON SULAM’S PROGRAM 2.1 BEFORE PROGRAM Before the SULAM’s program, there are many preparations that we have done to ensure that the embroidery program runs smoothly. Firstly, we have learned several topics that can help us to implement e-da’wah campaigns. Among the topics we studied are the strategy of online and digital campaign, cognitive dissonance theory and campaign, social media and campaign, persuasion and technology, persuasion and attitude change, effective modal e-campaign, and networked theology. From the topics that have been studied, there is a lot of knowledge and strategies that I can apply to do this e-da’wah campaign. Not only that, every discussion that has been conducted with the course coordinator in the class is very beneficial and helpful to be used as a guide to carry out each assignment given. Secondly, we have also been divided into twenty groups. Each group has nine or ten students that consisting from students of Da’wah and Islamic Management, New Media Communication, Akidah and Religious Study, Communication and Counseling. My groups and I have met four times before the SULAM’s program. In the first meeting, we had meet via online on Google Meet platform. We have done self-introduction sessions, appointment of committees such as director, deputy director, secretary, multimedia & promotion content unit, and technical & protocol content unit and also discussion of assignment distribution throughout the SULAM program. Then, the second meeting was held through face-to-face and we had our little discussion about SULAM’s program. For me, our second meeting is more about knowing each other and create bonding between us. 1 st meeting with group members. Then, my group and I have our third meeting on Google Meet platform and we had discussed about the topic that we want to do in SULAM’s video. Then, I also had our fourth and fifth meeting with my group members through face-to-face. In the last two meetings before the SULAM’s program, we had discussed about the storyline and do some acting scene as the preparation for the SULAM’s video. So, basically, we have completed almost 80% of the SULAM’s video.

4 th meeting with group members. 5 th meeting with group members: Video shooting. I feel very happy and satisfied with all my group members because they had played their respective roles according to the position that had been set. Apart from that, they have also cooperated as best as possible throughout the discussion and preparation sessions. This makes the SULAM program preparation process run smoothly and well. Thirdly, a week before the day of SULAM’s program, the course coordinator s also held a mega meeting with all the students that involved in this program. Mega meeting before SULAM’s program.

There are various things that have been delivered by the course coordinator such as a briefing about the school area, the rooms that can be used for video preparation, the tentative program, the activities carried out in the SULAM program and others. The course coordinators also give some advice so as to be able to protect the good name of ourself and also USIM. Most of the students are participated in this mega meeting and give a fully attention to the course coordinator. For me, the mega meeting held has given a clear picture of how the SULAM’S program will take place. 2.2 DURING PROGRAM There are many things that I can reflect on the day of the SULAM program. In the morning, all the students involved in the SULAM program gathered at the Kompleks Sukan Tunku Najihah to board the bus to Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Tasik Jaya (STAJA). All students have arrived early with own probes and electronic tools such as laptops, extensions, drones for use in video making. The situation at the Kompleks Sukan Tunku Najihah that morning was a bit chaotic because of the heavy rain and almost 200 USIM students were gathered in one place. There are also students who are wet because they have to ride a motorbike from their place of residence to Kompleks Sukan Tunku Najihah. Nevertheless, the efficient management of the course coordinator and all the class leaders resulted in all the students still being under control and safely boarding the bus according to the set list of names. We also arrived at STAJA on time and attended the SULAM program opening session. The opening session and every speech given made me amazed because this SULAM program has managed to gather almost 1000 people. This will certainly benefit and increase the public's knowledge about the campaign and the knowledge that will be conveyed in this SULAM program. Next, we also followed the talk program presented by Lim Joi Soon. There are many things that have been delivered by him especially regarding da'wah. He strongly emphasized the need for preaching to non-Muslims. This is because every Muslim is responsible for spreading and showing the purity of Islam so that non-Muslims are exposed to the true religion. Talk Program: Lim Jooi Soon. Although he is a convert man, he also shares his stories and experiences in preaching either in the field such as “da’wah street” or on social media. His enthusiasm and perseverance in preaching and inviting people to preach has raised my spirit to also try to deliver da'wah to others, especially to nonMuslims. After the talk program, we were required to gather according to the designated group including group members from SMKA Sheikh Haji Mohd Said and SMA Persekutuan, Labu. We were given up to 2.40 p.m. to complete and send the SULAM’s video to be evaluated by the course coordinator. During the

video preparation session, my group members and I had an introduction session with group members from SHAMS and SMAPLABU. Discussion with group members in Surau. We have also tried to complete the video and send it to the course coordinator according to the time that had been set. The members of the group from SHAMS and SMAPBLABU also cooperated a lot in making the video a success even though we just got to know each other. At 3.00 p.m., the closing session was conducted at the STAJA Resource Center. All the students were still enthusiastic especially when there was a prize presentation for the three best videos. The closing session went smoothly and ended at 4.00 pm. After the closing session, each group took the opportunity to take a picture together in the school area as a memory for the future. Photo session with team members. For me, this group consisting of university students and high school students is very beneficial because it can generate diverse ideas from different angles. Not only that, it also gives me new contacts and opportunity to work with new friends. After the photo session, all USIM students left the STAJA and arrived at USIM at 5.30pm safely.

2.3 AFTER PROGRAM After the SULAM’s program, the course coordinator held a meeting with all the students that had involved in Dewan Kuliah Sederhana 1.3. The purpose of this meeting is for the presentation of certificates, the announcement of the best leader award and also a post mortem for the SULAM program that has taken place. During the certificate presentation session, each student has the opportunity to go up on stage and receive a certificate from the course coordinator. This makes me and all the students feel appreciated and every effort given is worthwhile. Then, the course coordinator also handed over the best leader award certificate to two students. The best leader award was motivating all students to become more active and more responsible students with the trust given. Certificate handing and post-mortem session. After the certificate handing session, the course coordinator conducted a post mortem session. There are many things that have been delivered by the course coordinator in favor of the SULAM program that has taken place. Among the main things that were conveyed were manners with teachers and time management. Firstly, students should be more sensitive to all the instructions that have been given by the lectures so that they can complete each assignment well. Secondly, students should also respond and respond to every matter that has been presented by the lecturer either face-to-face or on social media such as in WhatsApp. This attitude will show our respect and appreciation to each lecturer. Thirdly, every student must also be smart in time management so that everything planned can be implemented well. Therefore, the last meeting conducted by the course coordinator really gave me lessons and awareness to be better in the future. For me, post mortem activities are very good because students can see and re-evaluate the things that have been done during the program. With that, every student will take lessons and it will impact on the programs that be implemented in the future.
