Quality and natural patina Most clay pots from B GREEN are handmade. Crafted in small workshops with a heritage of proud craftsmanship, they are made from high-quality clay using traditional small kilns. Clay is an organic, breathable material. This is why clay pots contribute to an optimal growing environment and promotes the well-being of your plants. Renowned for our patinated pots, B GREEN follows a natural patination process without the use of chemicals. Responsible production The majority of our suppliers consists of small, family-run workshops in Vietnam that sustain themselves through skilled craftsmanship – a tradition we have great respect for. By actively choosing small producers, we help to support the local population as much as possible. Many of these partnerships extend over two decades, and we make regular visits to ensure the responsible production of the beautiful and unique products we offer to our customer. Among other things, we ensure that there is no child labour involved and that the workshops maintain proper working conditions.
The environment We use natural materials in the production of our pots to the greatest extent possible, and work continuously to minimize the consumption of resource-intensive materials throughout the value chain. The firing process for the majority of our pots involves the utilization of rice husks, a by-product of rice polishing. In addition, we use as little packaging as possible for our pots. Packaging is primarily sourced from leftover materials from other productions. All our printed materials are Cradle to Cradle™ certified, ensuring that each product is part of nature’s own cycle without polluting or depleting the Earth’s resources.
