KEY Key Club International is the largest and oldest student-led service organization. Each year the PW Key Club
organizes a variety of fundraisers to help support global relief aid. To celebrate Halloween, members of the club
Club went trick or treating for Unicef, and raised funds for the Eliminate project. e Eliminate project, a joint project be-
tween Key Club and Unicef, is dedicated to help “eliminate” maternal and neonatal tetanus.

roughout the year, members participated in weekly club meetings and monthly divisional meetings. By attending
these meetings, members not only met other Key Clubbers throughout the lower mainland, but also learned about how
they can get more involved. Over spring break, members went to Seattle to attend the annual district convention to
participate in workshops and activities.

ough being part of a service club requires considerable commitment, members are always happy to contribute to
such charitable causes. Jacqui Yang (12) describes what the Key Club is about: “Sometimes, working in an organiza-
tion is not just about gaining experience, but rather about witnessing your own transformation while receiving support
from others.” Key Club has certainly transformed individuals and has inspired students to dedicate countless hours to
meaningful causes.
