The Horrible Tarantula

personal narrative

By Gabrielle

Man, I’m I scared of tarantulas now! It all started in
kindergarten. “Goodbye mommy!” I said as I was walking on the
bus.

“Bye sweetie!” my mommy replied.
“Hi Andrea!” I exclaimed.
“Hi!” Andrea said softly. Ten minutes later I arrived at class.
“Good morning, Mrs. Royer and Adeena,” I said happily.”
“Okay kids, it’s time for morning meeting!” Mrs. Royer
exclaimed.
“Aaahh!!!” someone screamed,” there’s a tarantula on the
ceiling!!!’’
“ Everyone just calm down,” Mrs. Royer said calmly.
“Aaahh!!!” everyone screamed.

“It’s poisonous!” someone yelled.
“It’s going to gobble us up in a second!” someone else
yelled.
“Everyone calm down! I’m going to call the janitor to fix up this
mess!” Mrs. Royer bellowed.
Everyone stopped what they were doing, and shut their little
mouths.
“Hello, this is Leslie Royer, and we have a problem. Mrs. Royer
said quickly.
“Yes, what is it?” the janitor said delightfully.
“We have a tarantula in our classroom.” Mrs. Royer chatted
out loudly.
“Okay, will be right down!” the cheerful janitor replied.
When the janitor came down, they indeed bravely, and safely,
brought the tarantula outside. Well, that was the end of that!
The next thing I knew, I was on the bus, then off at my stop.
“How was your first day of kindergarten honey?” my mother
said lovely.
“A tarantula was in the classroom, then the janitor came and
bravely, but safely put it outside!” I exclaimed as we walked home.
“Wow!” my mother yelled.
And that is why I do not like tarantulas any more!
