The Sleepover

Personal Narrative

THE
SLEEPOVER

By Sydney

“Yay!”I yelled. Me and my friend
Sahana are having a sleepover on a
Saturday in summer. My mom told me
there were 4 boys over, but I only knew
one name, Leo. “What?” I yelled.

“They’re probably crazier than ever.
It will be fun still, even if they are mean,”
I thought.

We arrived at their house, and the
boys were in the pool. We went inside to
see her mom and then we went and saw
Sahana. Sahana was so surprised that I
was already there. They had a long
driveway. “Good thing we have a car.
Hunny!” my mom shouted.

Then, her baby-sitter came over and
the first thing I said was, “Let's do tik
toks.”

She answered, “Yes!”

We did really fun tik toks. Then we
made a fort. First, we needed 4 stuffed
animals (They had to be big stuffed
animals). We put one on each side of
the bed, 1 on the side and another one
on the other side. Then, we put another
on each of the sides. Finally, we put
blankets on both of the sides and we
put another blanket on top of it so we
could lay down in it.

Then we went back outside and we
got a pretzel and corn. “This corn is
good,” I said.

Then we went back inside and
watched a movie called T he Grinch
Stole Christmas. It was really good. We

also had popcorn. It was really good,
too.

A few minutes later, we were having
s'mores, but the boys had sticks and we
did not. ”Why do they have sticks and
we do not?” I asked.

“Well, they found sticks before you, ”
Sahana’s mom said.

”Ok,” I replied.
So we went in the woods, and we got
a count of 12 sticks. “Let’s eat!” I said.
“MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!”.
I finally finished my s’more. “It was so
good,” I moaned.
Sahana’s baby-sitter left because it was
11:00. “There is nothing to do,” I said with a
sad look. “I wonder who wrecked our fort
down,” I whispered to Sahana. “Who
cares,” I yawned.

I was really tired. We remade the fort. It
was the same steps as last time. We
finally went to sleep in the fort because
we were both really tired.

I had a dream that we both lived with
each other, but it turned out that my
dream was not true.

Sahana and I woke up in the middle of
the night. First, I wanted to wake up and
then I woke Sahana up because I am
always scared and I thought she
probably had to go to the bathroom like I
had to go. Sahana was so mad. So we
fixed the fort instead. We went to bed ten
minutes later.

In the morning, we went to a diner to
get breakfast. We all loved our breakfast.

We arrived back at the house. We went
in the pool. We all went in the pool. They

had a waterslide. We all went on it 10
times.

Then we got out of the pooI. I got
dressed and then we went outside. We
saw my mom outside. ”Bye” I yelled.

I am really lucky to have Sahana as a
friend.
