Most hotels, motels, serviced apartments and resorts (properties)
are currently using a paper- or TV-based solution to inform guests
with details for their property and the local area.
Here at App IT Byte, we believe that most properties have not yet
converted to a digital hotel compendium service due to concerns
of accessibility across all human demographics.
We understand that if anyone is going to develop a digital hotel
compendium, it is only worthwhile doing if you can create a
solution that works for all demographics.

Why can’t our devices
do more for us?

People love their portable devices including smartphones, tablets
and laptops. Not just because they serve a purpose, but because
they are devices that can-do multiple things for us and in some
cases, at the same time.
So now the question must be asked:
Why can’t guests use their own portable devices to view
your compendium information?

Introducing Hinfo

Here at App IT Byte, we have developed Hinfo, which is the
portable digital hotel compendium service.
It is designed to run on your guests own smartphones, tablets and
laptop computers via a mobile app and website.

9

Guests are prompted on check-in to download the Hinfo app,
either by:
• Searching for Hinfo on the Apple or Google Play App Stores,
• Scan the QR code on the provided instruction sheet, or
• Visit hinfo.com/app on your guests’ smart devices.

Once the small app is downloaded, guests will enter via current
location or by search. Now guests can take your valuable hotel
compendium information, anywhere, anytime.

10

Hinfo fits perfectly into your property.

Hinfo is designed to:
• Take the compendium information, wherever your guests go

with their own smartphones and tablets.
• Have the most up to date information downloaded, when your

guests initially access your property details.
• Allow each guest to have their own access to the compendium

information.
• Removes the need to enter details from other compendium

solutions into guests' smartphones, such as for calling or
getting directions etc.
