It was a sunny day, John woke up because of the heat. He woke up and started his morning routine. He planned to go out to the Cineplex. Once he reached the Cineplex, he saw a board that said they were showing a movie called, Shazam : Fury of Gods. There was a long queue at the counter. He waited there for a long time. Once he finally reached the front of the line, he asked the worker for a ticket to watch Shazam: Fury of Gods. The worker stated the price. He reached his hand into the pocket to take his wallet but it wasn 't there. He felt very embarassed in front of the worker. He tried to look for it again but it wasn 't there. The customers that were waiting in line got really mad. While walking out he remembered something. He remembered someone bumping into his shoulders when he was using the restroom. He went there to look for his wallet. It wasn 't there. On the way out, he met his neighbour at the counter. They greeted each other and talked for a while. He told his neighbour about what had happen. The neighbour said that he had John ' s wallet. John asked the neighbour how he had his wallet. The neighbour told John that he found John ' s wallet in the restroom. John thanked his neighbour and invited him to watch a movie with him. They two were too happy that they finally get to watch the long awaited movie Shazam : Fury of Gods. On their way out, John thanked his neighbour for being truthful and returning his wallet to him. ~Lakshman 6 Isaithamil The Embarassing Story
Friday, 15 June 2023, What an unlucky day! I was late for my school and we had a trip to the Modern Art Museum at Kuala Lumpur. The bus, teachers were waiting for me as well as my friends. I managed to climb onto the bus on time. It was a two to three hour journey. The journey was too long so I took a nap meanwhile. It was a boring journey until we finally arrived at the museum. I had a bad impression at first as the outside was in a bad condition but my friends reminded me to ‘never judge a book by its cover’ . The moment my friends and I entered…..we were shocked. It was so fascinating. It was so amazing, especially the Mona Lisa portrait which was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. I had a whale of time looking at the paintings in awe. Then, I went back home and my dad was welcoming me home with a black belt. I acted like nothing happened until he used the belt to chase and beat me with it. My brother was laughing at me. It was still a great day because the next day is a weekend so I can sleep in and play some video games. ~Vikash Shavin 6 Isaithamil My Diary Entry
It was a nice morning Anne was getting ready for school. She went to school with a smile on her face. When she finally reached school her friend, Jones asked her if she studied for the English exam. She was confused as she didn’t know about the English exam. Soon, she started to panic. She tried to cramp all she needed to study in the last minute. When she went into her classroom, she was scared. The teacher waited for everyone to arrive. She started handing out the papers and explained the rules. Sweat started pouring down Anne ' s face. She just chose some random answers on the paper. A week later she found out that she failed and scored the lowest in the English exam. Her parents were upset. One day, she was sitting on the sidewalk when she saw a woman whose name was Anita. She offered to tutor Anne but Anne didn 't have any money .Her family was poor. After thinking about it for sometime, Anita decided to give her tutoring sessions for free. Anne reluctantly agreed. They agreed to meet each other when they were free. Anita would tutor Anne in her free time. They would always meet up at the library. Anne was struggling at first but Anita was always patient with Anne until she understood. She tutored Anne for a month. Soon, the final term examination arrived. This time Anne was confident. She used all the techniques Anita taught her. She took her precious time to complete the test. A week later she found out that she passed her exam and scored highest in the class 100%. She was thankful of Anita. Her parents were proud ~Shreeram 6 Isaithamil The English Exam
