Trail day volunteers

The Friends of Cape Henlopen
State Park will observe National
Trails Day, a national service day
created by the American Hiking
Society, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
Saturday, June 1, beginning at the
large picnic pavilion.

In participating, the Friends
help maintain trails, encourage
citizens of all ages to become
involved in volunteerism in their
communities, and promote the
stewardship of natural resources.

Friends will convene volun-
teers to assist in maintenance of
the magnificent Cape Henlopen
State Park. Volunteers of all ages
are invited. Groups such as fami-
lies, businesses or youth group
are also welcome to participate.

This year’s main emphasis is on
doing maintenance such as prun-
ing overgrowth, clearing debris
and picking up trash on all of the
park’s various trails. There also
will be invasive species removal,
beach cleanup and landscaping.

The large picnic pavilion is
adjacent to the parking lot for the
main beach and bath house. Work
on the projects will last until
noon, when the Village Improve-
ment Association of Rehoboth
will host a cookout at the pavil-
ion. In addition volunteers will
each receive a free National Trails
Day T-shirt. For information, call

Like puzzles? Then you’ll love sudoku. This mind-bending
puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square
off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to
the test!

Here’s How It Works:
Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down
into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers
1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each
number can appear only once in each row, column and
box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers
will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in
the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets
to solve the puzzle.

28 THURSDAY, MAY 30 - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5, 2019 Beach Paper

Paula is a local
realtor and has
lived in Sawgrass
North for 4 years.

I KNOW THE BEST NEIGHBORHOODS
AND I CHOSE

SAWGRASS NORTH.

Rehoboth locals who live and work here sure know a good thing when they
see it, which is why local realtor Paula was the first buyer to sign a contract
in Sawgrass North. Her knowledge of the best neighborhoods in the area
led her straight to Sawgrass North, for its' sought-after zip code, proximity
to downtown Rehoboth, ample amenities, energy-efficient Schell homes
and close-knit community feel she knew would quickly emerge.
