Chapter 3
Digital Supports

What digital tools are available as supports to help you solve the problem?

When applying formative assessment, use the feature in Google
Classroom to assign specific students different tasks. For
example, if you have 3 struggling students (you don’t wish to
draw attention to their inability) then in the formative assessment
assignment, you can differentiate their tool without other students
knowing.

Formative Assessment Examples for differentiation:
● Quizlet- you can give differing types: matching, read aloud
● Wiser me- matching, fill in the blank, self-paced, images,

videos, read aloud
● FlipGrid-different videos can be created based on student

ability and they would not realize that the assignment was
leveled
● Hyperdoc-scaffolding based on the skill set of the student

Chapter 4
Opportunities
