Local Control Funding Formula
The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) is California’s formula for determining the level of state funding provided to
school districts. Part of the LCFF model, referred to as supplemental and concentration funding, is devoted to helping
students specifically from low-income families, students who are learning English as a second language, and foster youth.
