In this study the relationship was examined between distinctive competencies and different demographic groups of the target population of AsiaPacific International University (AIU), a higher educational institution in Thailand. In the research the relationship also was explored between the university’s distinctive competencies and student satisfaction. Data were obtained from 260 respondents (students and alumni of AIU), who answered the questionnaire developed for this research. It was analyzed using descriptive statistics, a t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis, and regression analysis to test the hypotheses.
