A GOOD LEADER
A leader always helps people to do things. A boss says ‘I‘ and a leader says ‘we’. Be a leader,
not a boss. Let me narrate a story of Gandhiji and a young boy, which shows that our father
of our nation was a great leader.
It was a beautiful village and a young boy was living with his parents. The boy used to eat
lots of sweets. His mother warned him many times to avoid sweets but he would still eat lot
of sugar. One day, his mother took him to Gandhiji’s ashram and requested him to advise
her son to not to eat sweets. Gandhiji told the boy to come after ten days and after ten days
Gandhiji advised the boy to not to eat sweets. The mother was surprised by this action of
Gandhiji and asked him the reason of his action. Gandhiji replied that he was eating lots of
sweets, so to advise someone, he had to stop eating sweets first. Moral of the story - To be
a leader, you need to do the right thing first.

SPARE NO EFFORT
I have always heard a saying from my parents that whatever we do, we have to do the best. Developing the habit of trying to do our best will help us in
being successful throughout our life. Many people have succeeded in their life, not just by their talents but by doing their best. If there is a problem,
there is a chance to try and to do our best. There is no failure if we try to do our best. Each time we work hard, however small the work is, we will
succeed. This success will bring happiness. Each time we put in hard work, we will become perfect.
RIYA KUM

MEENA AND HER FLOWERS
Once there was a girl named Meena. She loved to see beautiful flowers and
colourful butterflies. There was a small garden in front of her house. She
enjoyed the beautiful colour of nature. However she was not putting any
effort to preserve it.
One day she was playing in the garden and observed that there was not a
single butterfly roaming near the rose plants. She showed it to her father and
she was eager to know the reason. Then her father told her, if you want to see
the beautiful colourful flowers, you are supposed to take proper care of the
garden. You need to water the plant for their growth so that beautiful
butterflies can come to the garden and you enjoy them.

Healthy body means a body which is strong, fit and not ill. To keep ourselves
healthy we must follow some good habits. First of all, we must be clean. Take
healthy food like pulses, whole grains, plenty of fruits and vegetables and milk. We
must have food at regular intervals. We must not skip food.
Ram and Shyam were very good friends. But Ram always was very dull in his studies
and sports, so Shyam asked him the reason. He said that he does not take proper
food. Now Shyam told him that he must take healthy food and play well and do
yoga to keep his body fit and healthy. Ram started doing as Shyam’s advice and in a
