CLOSING DAY
The moment that we have all been
waiting for has arrived, CLOSING DAY!
Prior to the day, you will have given
copious amounts of information to your
lender to ensure that you qualify for the
loan. You'll be filled with joy and maybe
even a bit of nervousness, especially if
you are a first-time buyer. Here are a few
important tips.
Please arrive on time. Attorney's run
on a rather tight schedule. Being late
could result in rescheduling for an
entirely different date and time.
Bring two forms of identification. One
should be drivers license/ID card. The
other can be a secondary ID such as a
credit or debit card, Military ID's
cannot be photographed and should
not be used for identification purposes
in this instance.
Keys will not be released until the
deed has been recorded. This means
that you may or may not get your keys
the same day that you close. This is
not something over which I have
control. Please plan accordingly.
