Keit h Pier son
Tennis Director
(609) 466-4244 x4229
[email protected]
Keith has been the Director of Tennis at Cherry Valley Country Club for 8 years.
During that time he has dramatically increased the programming and participation at
Cherry Valley. He increased the USTA ladies teams from three teams to eight teams.
The Round Robins when Keith began at Cherry Valley, consisted of three offerings a
week with light attendance. Under Keith?s direction, they increased to eight to ten
separate Round Robins offered every day, for all levels, many being filled to capacity.
Court usage was at such a premium that one USTA team had to be dropped, new lights
were installed on two courts, and the possibility of adding two more courts to accommodate
the growth in participation, was seriously considered.
Prior to coming to Cherry Valley, Keith was a very successful Head Coach of Div. III men and women?s tennis team at
Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. There he earned the St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference?s Coach of the Year
honors five times. While coaching at Principia, Keith earned a Masters of Science in Education for Sports
Management from SIUE graduating summa cum lauda. Before becoming a Head Coach, Keith was the J.V. Women?s
Tennis Coach at Princeton University as well the Program Director/Staff Pro for the Princeton Tennis Program. He is
certified by the USPTA and the USPTR at the highest levels for over 20 years.

At all times on the golf course and practice areas, men and women (i) must wear collared shirts (except on
women wearing golf shirts with sleeves), (ii) shorts must be of Bermuda-length or a style made for and designed
for golf; (iii) slacks are acceptable. The following types of clothing are prohibited on the golf course: denim of any
kind, shorts more than 4?above the knee, cutoffs, tennis shorts or running shorts, tennis-length skirts, tee-shirts,

To maximize the playing condition of our golf course and practice areas, all players must wear non-penetrating,
spikeless or soft spike shoes subject to approval by the golf shop. Players assume the risk of injury associated
with utilizing spikeless shoes under all conditions. To minimize the risk of slipping or falling, be careful when
walking in wet conditions or on hills or steep slopes, dead grass, bridges, platforms, steps and railroad ties, on
hard smooth surfaces or in golf carts.
TEETIMES
Located on the right side of your homepage are very important quick links. Most
notably is the ?Make Tee Time?link .
By clicking on ?Make Tee Time?, a pop-up will open which will direct you to our
online tee time module. Across the top you will see several tabs. The screen will
default to ?My Tee Times?, which will show you open reservations you or your
spouse have in the system. My Events will show any upcoming Member Golf
Events for which you are registered.
Moving across the top, you will see days of the week. Any day of the week that is
available for booking will populate on this screen. Our club rules allow tee times
days in advance, therefore you will see 4 days present by scrolling across.
If you would like to view the entire tee sheet, including who is registered in each
time, you may click on ?View Full Sheet?in the upper right-hand corner.
Once you have identified your desired time slot, click on that time and proceed
to the next step to enter your players names and send e-mails.
Once you have selected a tee time, you will notice a 05:00 counter begin. This is
to ensure no other Members or staff are able to book this time while you are
reserving it.
You may enter another
Member, guest or TBA into the selected grouping. In
order to enter another Member, begin typing the last
name and a list will populate matching that criteria.
When you are ready to add guests, simply enter their
name and e-mail address, if applicable.
When you want to send an e-mail to the other players
in your grouping, select the appropriate e-mail address
from the drop down box on the far right-hand side.
Once you are satisfied with your booking, simply click
?save?. Your tee time can now be viewed by returning to
?My Tee Times.?
Special Not e?
You are the author of this booking. Thus, you are the only
Member who may delete the time entirely. Members who are
booked into this time may remove themselves, however they
may not add or modify other players. In order to modify the
tee time, you will need to do so as the creator of the time.
Online bookings are merely an amenity provided for those
Members who desire the ease and flexibility the system provides. We enjoy talking to our Members and are
happy to help you reserve your time through a personal call to the Pro Shop or in person.

The resort style pool is a summer staple at Cherry Valley. A small wading pool for infants sits close by. The pool
facility includes men?s and women?s bathhouses, along with poolside food services. Cherry Valley strives to offer
programming for swimmers of all ages and abilities in addition to a championship swim team.
If you arrive in your swim attire, a cover-up must be worn in all areas outside of the pool gates. You may acess
the pool via the walkway between the Woodacres Clubhouse and Hobler House. The bathhouse by the pool or

ups, is not allowed in any Woodacres dining facility. The Cabana is a great spot to grab lunch and snacks while
enjoying the pool, without the hassle of having to redress to come inside.
