Year 7&8 Camp
“Yeah! Woah! This is awesome!!!” Shouted
Ashden. I was right next to him riding down the
luge at Rotorua skyline & luge.
There were three different tracks. The first one
was the one on the far left, the scenic route.
The second one ,in the middle, was advanced
and the third was intermediate. We only got
two chances so we had to pick two rides we
wanted to ride down the most. Ashden and I
rode down scenic and advanced. I think the
advanced was the best because there was two
jumps and the corners were tilted, there were
also some parts that slowed you down but I
managed to dodge them, but it was really short!
Scenic was just riding on flat ground with a few
corners but, it was really long and relaxing.
Once we had our second ride me and Ashden
went and bought some chocolate ice cream
plus twenty mini packets of jelly beans for $14!

On Wednesday
We went to Gengy’s (an all you can eat buffet)
for dinner.
We had to wait for so long. We began to moan
and our stomachs started telling us off but, it
was all worth it! It was one of the best dinner
I've ever had (but not the best).
I had two dinners and four desserts then I felt
like I'm about to vomit. However Ashden only
had one dinner and eight (if not then more)
desserts! I think the best part of Gengy’s was
when Boston threw up all over Carter's
shoulder. The reason Boston threw up on
Carters shoulder is because Carter dared
Boston to drink a cup of water filled with pepper
and Boston told carter “if I throw up I’m going to
throw up on you!” So he did end up throwing up
and he did end up doing it on Carter. Me and
Ashden was just about to get more dessert but
then someone told us to go wait by the table at
the far end we’re about to go soon after
everyone’s finished eating we’re going to leave.

Instantly me and Ashden looked at each other
in devastation we couldn’t believe we had go!

On the Thursday
“Arrhhh!” Screamed Boston in fear of going
down the big drop on the log flume.
“Everyone put your hands up!” I yelled and
surprisingly everyone did, but I think they were
already going to.
I went on the log flume thirteen times and I still
didn't get bored. A lot of people went to see the
bird show not including me of course I stayed at
the log flume and get soaking wet over million
times till I got bored witch I never did i stayed
on till we had to go. Me and some others did.
All though it did sound very interesting about
meeting a bird called Richie Mccaw.
I couldn't believe how soaked I got! And my
shoes were wet for hours!

Later that day

That afternoon
We got back to camp and threw our togs on.
We were getting ready for the polynesian spa.
After that we all climbed onto the bus and drove
to the awesome polynesian spa. As soon as we
got there Jayden, Ashden and I rushed to put
our stuff in the white boxes that were there and
then we all jumped in with no hesitation and
started wrestling straight away I was super
excited to go for a proper swim. We wrestled for
most of the time.
“Five more minutes before we leave.” Yelled Mr
O. Me and Ashden looked at each other and
realised that we haven't even gone in the spa
yet, so we rushed over and jumped into the
blue coloured spa (there were two spas ,one
was green and the other was blue).
“Wait a minute, this one's cold?” said Ashden.

“It is to.” I replied. So we crawled over to the
green one.
“Aaaaa,” said Ashden (with a relaxed look on
his face).
“This more like it.”
We got about two minutes in the spa then we
had two go back to camp and pack our gear
and get ready to leave tomorrow.

Me Asher and Jayden were in the villas. We all
just lied there and told each other about our
best parts of camp. We couldn't believe this
was our last night at camp!!!!!
No more luge, no more maze, and no more log
flume.
“Well at least we have Gengy's in whangarei”
said Asher. “Oh yeah! That's right, I forgot
about that.” I replied.
“That’s gonna be the first place I go when I get
back home.” Said Asher. The next morning we
tidied our rooms then climbed on the bus and
headed home.
