 Paper 2 is a 1 hour and 15 minutes
comprising 3 sections; Section A,
Section B and Section C. There are 3
questions in this paper. The total marks

for Paper 2 is 50 marks.

b) Get the main ideas/points/information
c) List out/ write the answer in the spaces provided.
d) Make sure your answer/choices/suggestion/points are

related.
e) Write the correct information.
h) Make sure ‘RM’, ‘%’ and other symbols are written in

proper way.

and tell her about at least three sections that might interest
her.

2. Write a note to your friend giving a detailed description to
guide him/her to the stadium.

3. Write a letter for him/her, telling him/her about at least three
uses of the coconut tree.

4. Write a formal letter to your headmaster, asking permission
and RM200.00 budget for the programme.

 Pupils should look at the pictures and words
given carefully. Understand the words and
their meanings before constructing
sentences.

 For each picture you can make one, two or
more sentences depending on your
proficiency.

 You are required to make use of all the
words.

 You must use correct English and give
particular attention to structure, spelling,
punctuation and legibility.

 Sentences must be related to the situation in
the pictures.

 You are advised to write your story in three
paragraphs.

- Read the instruction carefully. This section consists
of two questions. Answer one question only.

- Pay attention and identify the graphics given to
gather information based on:
a). Subject: – names and pronouns
b). Theme : story, Incident, process or facts,
events, activities
c). Time Frame (Rangka Masa): Present Tense
or Past Tense

- After that, find out the keywords (words beside the
graphics) to get the information/terms below:

a). Subject- names and pronouns
b). Verbs- went, jumped, played, was, did
c). Nouns- Ali -he, Siti -she, The cat -it, Ali and his

friend -they, My family and I -we.

d). Adjectives- hardworking, lazy, brave, hot

Tips on answering: Section C: (25 marks)

Writing composition based on given graphics.

- Verbs are very important in writing, especially when
we want to construct our sentences. For example :
went, jumped, played, was, did etc. So your story
must be in past tense and followed by time-frame in
the past, example : Last Week, Yesterday, During

the school holidays.
- If the time-frame is already given, not necessary to
added the other time-frame again.

Writing composition based on given graphics.

- Candidates must identify the related subject in the
story. This is because it will help or guide them to use
the correct pronouns in constructing sentences.
Example : Ali – he, Siti – she, The cat – it, Ali and his

friend – they, My family and I – we.

- Candidates must understand and know how to use
the correct term of nouns, adjectives or adverb in the
keywords given.

- Adverbs- manner, time, frequency, place and
degree.

- Example: quickly, strangely, loudly, sweetly, nearly,
