History of Me

Geography

Moving new schools can be terrifying and
nerve wracking for many. As I moved to my new
school, I was excited and intimidated. Starting a
new grade in middle school is not always easy. In
Carson, the summer heat shined light on the
sweaty, heavy, bodies that filled up the hallways
at school. New faces appeared once the overly
loud bell rung. Students running around as their
laughs echoed in the halls, making their way to
class. Although it was intimidating in way where
you might get lost, it felt like an adventure. The
blue buildings filled my sight as i hear the
teachers welcoming their students. The summer
heat has yet to leave as my body covered in
sweat makes my way to class. Leaving the sunny,
hot weather, I entered the large cool classroom
filled with heavy, quiet, bodies, waiting to be
instructed.

Religion

It was December 25, 2016, when my family
and I threw our annual Christmas party,
honoring Jesus birthday, then exchanging
presents. Food was on the table and smiles
were on everyone's faces.

We started the day off with a prayer in
which to thank the lord, Jesus christ. In this
specific holiday, we spent the day together,
celebrating with each other and praying.

Achievements

An invention that has truly changed our lives is
the english writing system. This writing system
has not only affected mines but everyone's lives
as well. I am able to not only write but
communicate to people because of this system.

English is the world's #1 language. Almost
everyone in the world can understand it,
therefore people from all over the world can
understand each other. Not only this, but
because of this invented technology, we are able
to learn. In english class, we learn the different
nouns, verbs, and adjectives, all because of the
English writing system. We follow the directions
that is instructed on the paper that is written in
English in math class, and we communicate to
each other using the English language.

Politics

During family meals, cellphones are not to be
seen present on the table. This rule is important
in which it may come off as rude. Usually, my
parents would warn me to put my phone away
and eat first, but when they are not in the mood
or just fed up with these silly actions, they
threaten to take it away, which does the job, as
my phone is something that is important to me.

As I got older, the rules became stricter as I
can't go out as much. My parents only allow me
to visit friends who they know of and only on the
weekends. They want me to prioritize school and
obviously, try my best at it. However, as i got
older the rules have been flexible and I have been
able to make my own choices. My parents have
grown to trust me and my judgements, therefore
i am able to do many things by myself.

Economics

Even though I do get an allowance, I have to work
hard for it. To earn money, I must babysit my younger
brother and as well as helping him with homework. I
also have to clean my room and wash my own dishes
after each meal. My parents are pretty fair with my
allowance. At the end of the month, when they think
I'm deserving enough, they eventually give me a
reasonable amount. They expect me to save this
money to purchase what i'd like so i wouldn't have to
constantly ask them.

Although i don't know what job I’d like to occupy in
the future, i am currently interested in the medical
field as I've been watching a lot of of shows describing
how it would be like working there. I would definitely
take the medical field into consideration and
hopefully will become a source of income on the
future

Social Structures

I have a pretty large family. My family consists of

my father, Hector, my mom, Charina, my 2 older
brothers, Happi and Glad, and my younger brother,
Gabriel. Both my parents are hardworking as they go
to work, providing us money, food, a roof to live
under, clothes, and a good education. I also have a
younger brother who is 4 years old, and currently in
kindergarten. He recently joined Carson st.
Elementary in the beginning of the school year.
Although he is cute and still a small child, he is very
loud, annoying and extremely hyper. Along with my
younger brother, i also have 2 older brothers who
olnger live with us, but i still adore.

As a family, we enjoy watching movies together
before its time for bed. My parents are big fans of
action and adventure movies therefore we watch that
often.
