In 1994 Form A Sign Pty Ltd was established. Brothers Wes
and Ken Chandler are the directors of the family business
that competes with the big players but also gives the
service that family businesses are renown for. Our Australia
wide service is about making quality custom made products
easy for you, our customer. We use only the best materials,
technology and training available. All artwork developed for
your business is kept on file for future sign requirements.
We are the go to boat wrap place in Victoria, wrapping
boats for over 25 years. Form A Sign is a one stop shop, our

understand the harsh marine environment, and as such we
choose only the best marine grade vinyls and laminates. All
materials used on boat signage are marine grade quality,
and are proven and resistant to the extreme conditions
of sun, water and sand. The special marine grade material
we use, will ensure your print will not fade, peel nor
crack for many years. Whether you are after registration
stickers, a boat name or a full body wrap, Form A Sign are
experienced in both designing and installing boat signage

BOAT WRAPS

We only use professional grade materials from brand
leaders like 3M to ensure your boat wrap stays vibrant and
more importantly withstands a marine environment. We
also supply specialty materials such as 3M180MC, 3M8518
with over laminate and 3M1080. This means there are very
few restrictions to the range of designs and colours that
you can achieve on your boat.

HOW LONG WILL MY BOAT WRAP LAST?
We guarantee your laminated boat wrap will not noticeably
fade due to UV conditions in line with 3M’s warranty.
Form A Sign only use the trade leading industry vinyl films
and laminates to ensure your wrap longevity. We use 3M
180MC with 3M 8518 over laminate with printed wraps and
3M 1080 series for change colour wraps. Your boat hull is
professionally cleaned, and prepared with 3M Primer 94
Edge sealer to maximize adhesion of your wrap. With good
maintenance and correct cleaning, your quality 3M wrap will
last for many years.

WE USE

Form A Sign uses products from leading brand 3M to
wrap and install your boat graphics. We always select high
quality vinyl, knowing the reason our customers prefer us is
because they know they will be satisfied with the result. Our
staff are 3M trained and certified installers and we are one
of the very few sign companies in Australia to hold a gold
partnership with 3M.
Our matched 3M system ensures a quality and durable
wrap. By using knifeless tape we guarantee there will be
no cuts made on your boat. We also use 3M edge sealer to
ensure it withstands water and sand abrasion. No job is too
big or too small for Form A Sign.

we will install either a stainless steel
or rubber bow protector depending
on your boat material. This prevents
damage from the winch post to your
boat.

HOW DO I GET MY
BOAT WRAPPED?

To provide an accurate quote we need to know the type
and size of your boat, and if you are wrapping just the
hull, or including the gunwales and transom. We also
need to know if you are after a plain colour wrap, or a
printed wrap. Lastly we need to know if you have a design
in mind, if you are after one of our standard stock
wraps, or a customized wrap just for you. Usually boat
names can be added to Form A Sign’s stock wraps at no
additional charge. Boat Registration numbers are also
required. We can email you a PDF of our stock wraps order
form or you can download it from our website.
By providing us with a photo of your boat, you will be able
to see what the wrap will look like on your actual boat prior
to manufacture. Form A Sign will provide you with a digital
proof of your design.
