● This portion of the presentation focuses on an in-depth look at the current challenges
of the Profession as a result of the definitions of Chiropractic in place today
Part 2. Subluxation in High Definition – Neuroscience and non-articular
neurological interference as it relates to Chiropractic.
● The current challenges in practice based on the definitions in play governing the term
Subluxation. Once you have an understanding of Chiropractic and Subluxation in the
light of new scientific information, you have the power to support the Profession from a
much stronger position.
Part 3. The Adjustment in High Definition – The Neurodynamics of the
Chiropractic Adjustment and its Effects on Neural Re-patterning in the Central
Nervous System."
● This will include a quick review of some of the research papers which support the
direct neurological effect on the brain activity of Chiropractic adjustments. You will be
able to redefine Chiropractic, Subluxation, and the Adjustment with corresponding
research to support this 21st Century Profession. This offers a guide for frequency,
duration and intensity of patient care programs.
Part 4. Neuromuscular Reintegration as an adjunct therapy for the management
of Scoliosis.
● We will review some pre and post case studies which show the effectiveness of
Chiropractic and biofeedback training based on dynamic sEMG testing.
● Case study - Neuromuscular Reintegration as an adjunct therapy for the
management of Scoliosis.
Part 5. Building New Memory Patterns - Establishing the link between the
Chiropractic adjustment and the alterations of synaptic thresholds to create new
neural patterns.
● A presentation on Current neural science regarding the role of the adjustment in the
development of new dendritic and synaptic connections.
Part 6. The Role of neurological response in determining Frequency, Duration
and Intensity (FDI) of Chiropractic care.
● Foundation for establishing care programs based on the state of the neurological
responses of the patient. These programs include consideration of technique styles as
related to their intensity of sensory input.
