As part of you journey to become The CDT Property Facilitator, please complete the following pre-work before the session: 1. Complete the Trainer Self-Assessment. Be prepared to share some insights from your self-assessment. This will be covered in Session 1. 2. Select a topic to work on for your teach backs. You may select a skills or knowledge and skills training to present on. 3. Read through the training brief to help you with the preparation of your presentation. We will run through the document in Session 2. 4. Download the participant workbook and implementation guide.

3 Certified Departmental Trainer Program Marriott International. Proprietary and Confidential. TEACH BACKS Goal: Conduct a 10-minute Skill / blended Knowledge and Skills Training. Instructions: 1. Select a short 10-minute training topic from your department. Depending on your selected topic, it could be a Skills or blended Knowledge and Skills Training. 2. Execute the training system by finding appropriate content sources such as relevant SOPs or trainings. 3. Complete the Training Brief. 4. Prepare for the actual training presentation by using the completed Training Brief. Do note that you will be assigned a partner with whom you will do the demonstration. 5. Present to the group for feedback and evaluation for your certificate. Training Topic: “Learning experiences are like journeys.
