WTS-9, WTS-17 and WTS-24 AIR COOLED STUBBY TIG TORCHES

Stubby Torches, originally designed with specialist cycle frame manufactures in mind,
offer unprecedented versatility for light duty TIG welding.

These AIR COOLED torches are light weight and compact with a soft rubber handle that is
easy to hold without strain or tension to the hand.
The Super Flexible (SF) rubber power cable is the most flexible in the industry and is
over braided with non-flammable yarn for durability.

There are ten FULLY INTERCHANGEABLE heads, allowing access to the most difficult weld
locations. Ideal for tube welding.
All 920 Heads allow use of the full range of WT9 and WT20 parts.
All 1718 Heads allow use of the full range of WT17, WT18 and WT26 parts.
24 Heads allow use of full range of WT24 parts.

Fitting a 1718 head or a 24 head on to a WTS-9 torch allows use of WT17 or WT24 parts.

Fitting a 920 head or a 24 head on to a WTS-17 torch allows use of WT9 or WT24 parts.

Fitting a 920 head or a 1718 head on to a WTS-24 torch allows use of WT9 or WT17 parts.

Torches have 3/8" BSP Machine End Fittings as standard - others on request.

These modern fused Quartz Nozzles offer superior temperature and thermal shock
resistance, surpassing both Pyrex® and the pink Ceramic Nozzles for performance.

* Better weld puddle visibility. * Higher Heat resistance.
* No thermal shock breakage. * Better Laminar gas coverage.

Available in different bore sizes and lengths to suit your job requirements.
You can use the Long Quartz Nozzles with the WT17 Standard Collets and Collet Bodies by
using a simple Adaptor Ring (10NQA).
The Stubby Collet Body (17CB20) or a special Small Stubby Gas Lens - both used with the
range of Stubby Collets - also allow use of the shorter Quartz Nozzles.

180 degree DINSE ADAPTORS
180degree Adaptors feature adjustable locking Water/Gas Return Hose position.
When locked in position, the exit port is safely at the top of the connector, minimising
accidental damage.
Adaptor Body and Gas/Water Port are fully insulated.
Two sizes are available:-
Small - 2538 with 9mm dia.dinse fitting and Large - 3538 with 13mm dia.dinse fitting.
Both are supplied with 0.5m reinforced rubber Water/Gas Return Hose.
Adaptors have a 3/8”BSP (3/8) Water/Gas Return Hose fitting as Standard, 1/4"BSP (1/4),
Bayonet (BY) and other fittings are available on request.
