The foundation offers additional or full assistance to students depending on the student’s current applications. Please refer to Accounts Department to find out what you can apply. PERBADANAN TABUNG PENDIDIKAN TINGGI NASIONAL (PTPTN) PTPTN is the most common mode of financial assistance for higher learning institution learners in Malaysia. This body offers educational loans at the lowest rates to all eligible Malaysians who need to cover their tuition fees as well as in some cases, their common expenses for each semester. You can talk to our Accounts Department or check PTPTN’s official website [ https://www.ptptn.gov.my/ ] for details on applying. YAYASAN ILMU SARAWAK Yayasan Ilmu offers two types of scholarship namely Geran Bantuan & Biasiswa Kenyalang. Geran Bantuan is open to all eligible Sarawakian students, while Biasiswa Kenyalang offers extra benefits to all eligible Sarawakian students who are achieving CGPA 3.7 or higher in their latest semester. HOW TO APPLY 63 i-CATS UC This step-by-step guides takes you through the application process for our courses. Our aim is to make the application process as simple and efficient as possible. We strongly encourage all applicants to avail of the support of our education counsellor who can provide you with independent advice on your application. 4Submit an application You can apply to i-CATS UC either to our agent or online. This ensures that your application is not delayed or lost in email. You will receive and automatic acknowledgement of your application when submitted and will receive regular updates on its progress. For all applications, we require the following: » Copy of your academic transcripts and certificates, both in original language and English version translated by a certified translator. » Copy of your identity card/ passport. » Copy of school leaving certificate. » Copy of birth certificate. » Copy of English language test results. 5Apply for scholarship and study loans Each students is automatically assessed for a range of scholarships and study loans. We will notify by email as to whether you have been awarded a scholarship or eligible to apply for study loans and the next steps to accept the scholarship or study loan offer. For high performing students, we also offer a small number of prestigious scholarships and grants. Students already in receipts of existing scholarships or grants and who have strong academic results, may choose to apply for one of our prestigious scholarships. INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EMGS APPLICATION i-CATS University College offers international students a seamless application process through the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) platform. The first step in the application process is to create an account on the EMGS website and submit the necessary documents, including academic transcripts, passport copies, and medical reports. Once the application has been processed and approved, students will receive an offer letter from the university college. Students are then required to accept the offer and make the necessary tuition fee payment.
