UNLOADING GOM-360BDREP SERIES II FROM CARGO VESSEL

Before removing the machine from the cargo vessel, the backup light (amber light located on the back of the
machine on the engine side) must be reset. Press the reset button located on the light to RESET the light.

Remove boxes and other items before removing machine from vessel.

Before removing the machine out of the vessel, the chains located on machine must be removed. There are
three chains holding down the machine to the cargo vessel. One chain on the back of the machine going
across the counterweights and two in the front of the machine.

Depending on how the machine is unloaded, a couple of warnings about how the machine is resting in the
cargo vessel.

The machine is placed in the cargo vessel off center cause of the weight distribution of the machine shifts to
the engine side of the machine.

Use the following steps to remove the GOM-360BDREP SERIES II from the shipping container.

1. Open the battery storage box from the top of the BOLTS (2) TOP BATTERY
machine. STORAGE

2. Remove the two (2) bolts on PLATE
top of the battery storage box
and swing the top plate back.

3. Connect the negative (-) battery cable connection to the negative
battery terminal. CAUTION! POWER TO THE MACHINE WILL
BE ON WHEN THE BATTERY CABLE IS CONNECTED TO THE
BATTERY!

4. Located the radio transmitter hanging off the valve enclosure hook.
5. Insert the battery for the transmitter.
6. Check the radio transmitter, make sure the control power switch is in the

UNLOCK position.
7. Check the STOP button, twist counterclockwise to reset button.
8. Start the machine:

a. Press the RESTART push button to activate the radio
transmitter. The SYSTEM LINK INDICATOR will illuminate
green when a link to the receiver has been made.

b. Press the ENGINE START button to start the engine, release
the switch when started, WARNING: DO NOT ENGAGE THE
STARTER FOR MORE THAN 30 SECONDS AT A TIME. IF
THE ENGINE DOES NOT START THE FIRST TIME, WAIT
AT LEAST TWO (2) MINUTES BEFORE TRYING AGAIN.

c. Press the function speed button down to the SLOW (snail)
speed setting.

d. Press the ENGINE RPM switch up to increase the engine’s
RPMs.

CAUTION! ONLY OPERATE THE TRAVEL PADDLES, DO NOT USE OTHER
FUNCTIONS UNTIL MACHINE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM
CONTAINER!

9. Push the TRACK paddles up to move the machine out of the container.

Check each side of the vessel when removing the machine. Keep both sides clear of material or personnel.
