youth and families, which leads to holistic parenting and holistic
relationships.

Introduction
Good family communication is powerful because it promotes holistic
parenting and relationships. Families are important and may be influential.
Although culture, values, beliefs and/or ideologies may shape one’s
personality, it is vital that families work together. Being honest with one
another is important. Without honesty, it is impossible to promote holistic
parenting and relationships. When families lack proper communication, it
causes an impairment in relationships, which result in negative impacts on
children and youth development. Proper communication is being able to
talk, express thoughts or share opinions without hostility, profanity, or
derogatory language. Children are the product of their environment and
must be nurtured properly to grow and develop. Children are a gift from
God and require love and proper nurturing to thrive throughout their daily
lives.
An in-depth knowledge and understanding of healthy parenting and
relationships may be achieved by using this activity workbook.

ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION

Three-Sixty Resource Project is a 501c (3) non-profit organization that aim
to provide comprehensive educational, social development and relevant life
and survival skills, which promotes a better life in the near future. This non-
profit organization also aim to influence the minds of children, youth and
families to achievement by using comprehensive resources to enhance
learning and increase efficient ways to cope with personal and social
problems that may be faced by children, youth and families.

MISSION
Provide educational, social development and relevant life and survival
strategies to children, youth, and families.

VISION
Three-Sixty Resource Project (TSRP) vision is to serve the East Baton
Rouge Parish and surrounding areas. The populations served are those
who are seeking educational services, social development, mentoring,
which aid in reaching his/her fullest potential and well-being. These
services are designed to increase recipient’s opportunity to succeed.

How to use this workbook:

The aim of this workbook is to strengthen communication while increasing
better parent-child(ren) and/or guardian-child(ren) relationships. This
relationship builder activity workbook includes (ten) weekly 4-day discovery
questions, self-questions and self-evaluation questions that focus on
rebuilding and/or maintaining the family holistically. These questions are
included to increase self-discovery and to self-correct to appropriately
correct other family members or loved ones without infraction relating
communication and relationships.

In this relationship builder activity workbook, parents or guardians will find
helpful ways to better communicate with their child(ren). Children will also
benefit from this activity workbook because they will be guided or parent-
lead while learning to communicate better with their family or loved ones.
This will help to jumpstart a purposeful conversation between parents
and/or guardian(s) and their child(ren). A purposeful conversation is care
talk that focuses a person’s day, feelings (emotions), needs or wants.

Parents are expected to use this workbook with their child(ren) four days
each week to benefit from activities included. Using this workbook with your
family helps, because this is where social activity starts to restore your
family holistically.

We hope that this relationship rebuilder workbook enhances your
parenting and enrich your child(ren) learning. This activity workbook should
also help to develop, restore, and/or maintain a holistic family which leads
to better relationships and communities.

According to recent national news or media, domestic violence has
increased since the existence of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. The
Coronavirus/COVID-19 has affected children, youth and families and
communities tremendously. It has done so much damage, it is considered a
pandemic instead of an epidemic. According to Barker (2014) a pandemic
is a term applied to social problems, disease, or mental disorder that
appear on a broad scale throughout a specific large area (such as a city, a
nation, a continent, or the entire world). An epidemic is the occurrence of a
disease, disorder, or social problem that spreads rapidly and affects many
people in a community within a relatively short period (Barker, 2014).
