INTRODUCTION

Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus was established in 2011 by a non-profit making society, Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society.
GGSES Technical Campus is situated in Bokaro which is known as Steel City. Bokaro is a district under Jharkhand state. Jharkhand is known all over
the world for its rich mineral resources. There are many industries in vicinity of Bokaro which are very much helpful for our students in getting training and
developing industry-student interaction. This institute has all the required infrastructure like well-maintained buildings, Laboratories with update equipment and
technology, smart classrooms, separate seminar halls for each course, big size auditorium with seating capacity of about 1000 students, amenities like play
grounds for various games, hostels for boys and girls, staff quarters, a very good canteen, grassy grounds, state of art gardens, enough circulation areas,
well-constructed concrete internal roads etc. etc. The main objectives of this Institute are: -

UG Courses

Department of Civil Engineering

Civil engineering deals with the Construction, Soil mechanics, Transportation, Municipal sanitary,
surveying, mapping and hydraulics. A construction engineer deals with the design and supervision
of construction of bridges, buildings,tunnels, water reservoirs and dams etc. etc. Engineers
specialized in soil mechanic are vital and relevant for conquest of areas ranging from Antarctica to
the moon. Transportation engineering deals with the planning,design and construction of roads,
streets and thoroughfares etc. Broadly a civil engineer is expected to do planning, research, design
and construction of buildings and roads; traffic and transportation, irrigation and power, water
supply and sewage disposal, dams and reservoirs, ports and harbors, airways and navigation,
treatment for industrial wastes and abatement of air pollution and disaster mitigation.

A civil engineer can choose from a multitude of career options like designing, supervision andconstruction activities of public works
like roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, water ways, sewage systems, ports etc. The career prospects in this field are

Department of Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing, and maintenance
of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation
of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest and broadest discipline. Mechanical Engineering field requires an understanding of core concepts including mechanics,
kinematics, thermodynamics, material science and structural analysis. Mechanical engineers use these core principles along with tools like computer-aided designs and
product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment, mechanical heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft,
watercraft, robotics, medical devices and many more.

Career Prospects

Mechanical Engineering finds applications in all fields of technology. Mechanical Engineers can work in many industries including private or public sector industries of

Department of Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The field of Electrical Engineering is the place to be in for those who love electrical systems – ranging from heavy power generation to the smallest of micro-chips.
This department infuses the design, manufacture, installation, operation and management of electrical systems that strengthen modern economies and contribute to
improving the quality of life. The Electrical Engineering department at GGSESTC prepares students in this field by using modern technologies.
The B.Tech (Electrical Engg.) degree program is designed to achieve a balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge
gained through exploration in the field of energy and energy distribution system.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

2-years full time MBA course is a PG course designed to provide a professional course in Management for those who want to seek managerial position in industry,
