Message from the President Engaging in international arts societies has become a more favorable avenue for cultural learning because arts and culture are universal languages that overlaps with each other in both attitudes and forms. Historically, culture had been passed on and disseminated through various art forms representative of the society and the era where they emerged. Even in the present era of rapid exchange in communication made possible by digital systems, these art forms have integrated elements of technology to allow for the wider dissemination and proliferation of culture. This integration of arts within the society provides a clear reflection of civilization and allows different countries to learn and share experiences in arts and culture. It is for these reasons that the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, Ministry of Culture, spearheaded an International Visual Art Exhibition at Regional Arts and Cultural Festival in the King Narai Reign Fair, Lop Buri Province, Thailand. This event is made possible through the cooperation of the Faculty of Fine Arts, College of Fine Arts, Suphanburi College of Fine Arts, Nakhonsitammarat College of Fine Arts and other educational institutions – national and international. It aims to enhance creativity in fine arts, serve as an avenue for the exchange of academic knowledge in arts, and allow participants to experience the rich artistic and cultural exchanges through the exhibition, publication, and networking of art works from local and national artists, as well as international artists from many countries. This project is hoped to have establish and sustain a better relationship and stronger cooperation between the Graduate Institute of Artists and artisans of all participating institutions for the promotion of arts in the local, national and international levels.
