Introduction

รายงานฉบับนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ อ33101 ชั้น
มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6/2 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษา Grammar เรื่อง If-
Clause ทั้งนี้ในรายงานฉบับนี้ประกอบไปด้วย เนื้อหาหลักการใช้ If-
Clause เเละเเบบฝึกหัด เพื่อให้ผู้อ่านเข้าใจได้มากขึ้นจากการทำเเบบ
ฝึกหัด

ผู้จัดทำได้เลือกหัวข้อนี้เนื่องจากเป็นเนื้อหาที่เข้าใจได้ไม่ยากเเละออก

If-Clause

If-Clause หรือ Conditional Sentence
คือ ประโยคเงื่อนไขสมมติเหตุการณ์ต่างๆ โดยโครงสร้างเเบ่งเป็น 2 ส่วน ได้เเก่
1.If Clause ส่วนที่เป็นเงื่อนไข ขึ้นต้นด้วย IF
2.Main Clause ส่วนประโยคหลังที่เป็นผลมาจากเงื่อนไข
หลักการเขียน
1.ถ้าเขียนประโยค IF ขึ้นก่อนจะต้องใส่ , คั่นระหว่าง If clause เเละ main clause
2.ถ้าประโยค main clause ขึ้นก่อนไม่ต้องใส่ ,
ประเภทของ IF-Clause
1.Type 0
- ใช้กับเงื่อนไขที่เป็นจริงเสมอหรือความจริงทางวิทยาศาสตร์
โครงสร้าง : If + Present Simple Tense , Present Simple Tense .
Ex. : If you stand in the rain, you get wet. ถ้าคุณยืนตากฝน คุณก็จะเปียก
2.TYPE 1
- ใช้กับสองเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดต่อเนื่องกัน
โครงสร้าง : IF + Present Simple Tense , Future Simple Tense .
Ex. : We will stay at home if it rains. เราจะอยู่บ้านถ้าฝนตก
2.1.Type 1.1
- ใช้เป็นประโยคคำสั่งหรือคำเเนะนำ
โครงสร้าง : If + Present Simple tense , Imperative Form .
Ex. : If you arrive at the airport, don’t forget to call me. ถ้าคุณมาถึง
สนามบินแล้ว อย่าลืมโทรหาฉัน

2.1.TYPE 1.2
- ใช้กับสองเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดต่อเนื่องกัน เหมือน TYPE 1 เเต่ใช้ MOdal v. เเทน
Future Simple
โครงสร้าง : If + Present Simple , Modal V. .
Ex. : If we don’t get a taxi now, we might arrive late. ถ้าเราไม่เรียก
เเท็กซี่เราจะไปสาย
3.Type 2
- ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับความจริงในปัจจุบัน หรือใช้สมมติสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้
ในปัจจุบัน
โครงสร้าง : If + Past Simple tense, S. + would + V. infinitive .
Ex. : If I knew the answer, I would tell you. ถ้าฉันรู้คำตอบ ฉันจะบอก
เธอนะ(เเต่ตอนนี้ไม่รู้)
4.TYPE 3
- ใช้กับใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับความจริงในอดีต หรือรู้สึกเสียดายในอดีต
โครงสร้าง : If + Past Perfect Tense, S. + would + have + V.3
Ex. : If my sister had studied hard, she would have passed the exam.
ถ้าน้องสาวฉันตั้งใจเรียนกว่านี้ เธอคงสอบผ่านไปแล้ว(แต่น้องสาวไม่ตั้งใจเรียน เลย
สอบตก)
5.Mixed type
- ใช้กับสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นความจริงในอดีตเเละส่งผลมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน
โครงสร้าง : จะนำ 2 TYPE มาผสมกัน
Ex. : If I’d studied law, I’d be an attorney now. ถ้าฉันเรียนกฎหมาย
ตอนนี้ฉันก็ได้เป็นทนายความเเล้ว(ปัจจุบันไม่ได้เป็นทนายความ)

6.If-clause รูปเเบบอื่นๆ
- ใช้ Unless เเทน IF มีความหมายเหมือนกับ If...not
โครงสร้าง : Unless + Affirmative V. .
Ex. : You will regret it later unless you listen to your mother.
คุณจะเสียใจถ้าคุณไม่ฟังเเม่ของคุณ
การลดรูป If
1.Type 1
- เปลี่ยนจาก if เป็น should
Ex. : If we go by train, it will be cheaper.
Should we go by train, it will be cheaper.
2.Type 2
- ถ้า v. เป็น v.to be จะเปลี่ยนจาก if เป็น Were เเต่ถ้าไม่ใช่ v.to be จะใช้ were
to เเทน
Ex. : If I were a carpenter, I would build my own house.
Were I a carpenter, I would build my own house.

If I had a map I would lend it to you.
Were I to have a map I would lend it to you.
3.Type 3
- เปลี่ยนจาก if เป็น had
Ex. : If you had told me, I could have helped you.
Had you told me, I could have helped you.
