I knew her because of the “Gilmore girls” movie
I like the role she played and she is really pretty and cute.

Introduction

Kimberly Alexis Bledel (born September 16, 1981) is an
American actress and model. She is known for her role
as Rory Gilmore on the television series Gilmore Girls
(2000–2007), and Emily Malek in The Handmaid's Tale
(2017–present). Bledel also had a recurring role in Mad
Men in 2012 and reprised her role as Rory Gilmore in
the Netflix reunion miniseries Gilmore Girls: A Year in
the Life (2016).

Bledel made her feature film debut as Winnie Foster in
the Disney live action adaptation Tuck Everlasting
(2002), and went on to appear in Sin City (2005), Post
Grad (2009), and as Lena Kaligaris in The Sisterhood of
the Traveling Pants film series.

Biography

Kimberly Alexis Bledel was born in Houston, Texas, to
Nanette (Dozier) and Martin Bledel. Her parents are both
Spanish-speakers (her mother was born in Arizona and raised
in Mexico, and her father was born in Argentina), and Alexis's
ancestry includes Danish, Welsh, English, Scottish, Irish.

Alexis made her television debut in Gilmore Girls (2000), after
spending years in front of the camera as a model. Bledel's
parents encouraged her to try community theater in Houston

when she was 8 years old, hoping it would help their daughter
overcome her shyness. She went on to perform in productions
of Our Town, The Wizard of Oz and Aladdin. She began her
modeling career while still in high school, traveling all over to
locations like Tokyo, Milan, New York and Los Angeles. After
graduating, she enrolled at NYU. In the Spring of 2000, Bledel
landed a manager through her modeling agency and headed to
Los Angeles for her first pilot season, where she quickly
landed the coveted role of Rory on Gilmore Girls (2000).

When she's not working, Bledel enjoys writing, reading,
shooting photography, going to the movies and spending time
with her family. She is married to actor Vincent Kartheiser,
with whom she has a son.

Spiritual Belief

She appears to be Catholic. Alexis was exposed to a
melting pot of cultures and religion. She has mentioned
that while growing up in Jewish neighborhood in
Houston, she has attended a Lutheran, a Baptist and a
Catholic school. Sources are scarce, but based on one
interview shared by a fan it states that “Alexis is a
Catholic Girl raised in a sheltered background”. Highly
possible since both her parents have Latin American
backgrounds, and 40 percent of the world’s Catholics
live in Latin America.
