SPEAKING PUBLIC involves talking in front of a group of people, usually with some preparations. It can be in front of familiar faces like family and friends or a large group of strangers In contrast to presentation, public speaking usually have less chance for audiencespeaker interaction which means that audiences will only listens as the speaker speaks. To persuade Informative Entertaining Public speaking is a planned, faceto-face and intentional attempt to persuade the audience though words, body language and visual or audio aids. IS A SKILL @REALLYGREATSITE 1. COMMUNICATION SKILLS -Ipgk students are future teachers. As future teachers, it is important to master the communication skills. 2. CONFIDENCE -As students that are preparing to become an educator, it is crucial to have confidence in talking and communicating. Public speaking helps in boasting confidence everytime speeches are made, starting from small groups of audiences to a large ones. Having confidence will be a huge advantage as ipgk students will feel less nervous not only when teaching but talking with other teachers and parents. 3. LEARN TO PERSUADE -Ipgk students must be ready to not only make the learning process informative and entertaining, but they also need to be able to persuade the students. This ability of persuading students will come in handy when the ipgk students encounter the needs to reprimand for wrongdoings and persuade them to improve their manner. IMPORTANCE OF PUBLIC SPEAKING TO IPG STUDENTS
