you to harmonize with all your peers. So many
songs to sing and words to say, its like you
could sit there and sing all day.

Many students refer to the class as a period to
get away from their stress, problems, and a
way to decompress. "I like being able to just
be myself and not worry about anyone
judging me," Robbie Allen said. There is a large
amount of creative freedom and students say
it is a fun and memorable class to take.

Overall, if you like to sing at a low pitch, high

Bucs for two years.

Sydney DeLapp, a sophomore swimming for
the Bucs, has been in the pool for 8 years. "This
was my best season so far personally. As a
team, we got new talented swimmers. We also
grew very close and dropped lots of time as a
team," DeLapp said.

8 Through the wins and losses, the Oswego Bucs stuck
together as a team for a great season.
Senior goalie Ashley Finch has been skating since she
was three years old and started to play hockey at age
four. Her parents encouraged her to play hockey to help
her realize how much this sport could mean to her. After
high school, Finch will continue on the ice at Paul Smith's
College. "The team started to play as a team and it
helped us win games and created friendships," Finch
said.
Julia Roman, another senior for the Bucs was inspired
by her dad to start playing hockey and has been playing
for fourteen years. "My favorite memory was when we
won against Potsdam 4-2," Roman said. She plans to
play hockey in college while majoring in biology.

The boys' basketball team finished their season 18
4-15 overall. Junior Matthew Callen has been
playing basketball his whole life. "I have a love and 81
passion for the game. My favorite part of the season
was just the whole season itself hanging out with the Copyright © Jostens Inc, 2020
team and our coach and working like a family,"
Callen said.

"Although the season didn't work well on the court
and we didn't get done what we had in mind, we
haven't had an off-season in two years," Callen
stated. The Bucs tried hard to do the best they could
on and off the court.

Keyon Johnston enjoyed his junior season. He has
been playing since he was young and enjoys the
atmosphere the game creates. "My favorite part of
the season was all of the close games we
unfortunately lost but were fun to play in. I believe
the season could've gone better if the team was

17 able to create some chemistry," Johnston said.

TRIM LINE TRIM LINE Coming into the season, the girls were faced with many difficult
challenges and matches against strong teams. Although there were tough
losses, they took them on head strong and did better than expected growing
not only as a team but as individuals. As their season went on, they became a
stronger team and practiced playing as one. Their season slowly improved for
them as they put in lots of hard work and started a winning streak that
boosted their confidence and drive. They were defeating teams they had lost
to earlier in the season and ended up getting themselves back on track and
lined up to reach goals they had planned in the beginning of the season.
With a great end to this year's season and a difficult goodbye to some seniors,

the Oswego Bucs hope to work just

7 as hard next year.
